Yes, thomas paine did charge for pamphlets because it was very expensive to print in those days but he donated the profits after covering expenses.

Unlike European countries where you can drive an hour or two and be at your capital cities, the US across it's northern border east to west is 4000 + miles. North to south I'd have to estimate, contiguous states about 2500 miles.
So logistics is a bit of a problem. In the 60's, we baby boomers swamped the capital in DC because we were able to do so. We didn't have jobs, kids, elderly parents, bills, you get the picture.
But now, we are 50's to mid 60's, and many are making the trip to protest. We do however, make millions of phone calls, and send millions of emails to our reps, who in turn ignore us. I wish we could get the entire country to show up, and just stand there silently en masse.
But frankly, it's time for the other generations who don't have as many obligations to get off their asses and do some of the heavy lifting.

People don't get. The left-right paradigm was created specifically to stop a revolution. Which part of the paradigm is going to revolt. Nobody should live their lives by identity politics. Give everyone a blank slate until they show you who they are. But we need a language to talk about systems of power and advantage. You're tarded if you think we can talk about human rights without making generalizations about groups.
It's not being a sheep to look at women as a group at times. It's about looking at statistics and making reasonable judgements to keep yourself safe or to protect your rights.
We are doing the same thing right now in considering how to protect citizen rights. Making generalizations. Grouping people. Trying to see how and why some people are being targeted or oppressed by another group of people.
