Atmosphere reaction and asteroid disintegration can only be calculated if the angle of entry and rock composition is known. For an asteroid that was found 1 day ago, that seems to be quite too much information for the usual. |

Dont underestimate the powers of nature simply because you want to live by wishful thinking. Face the reality of the situation. Human beings have created a terrible imbalance in life and that aint good one bit. And only peace can save us now. Across the board. If this doesnt kill millions then we get lucky but if it does kill at all THIS should be a wake up call. Respect for life finally ? We shall see. God knows how big the punch has to be to get our attention. God knows.

I would guess more and bigger asteroids. What is weird is I had a dream about this about a month ago. We were outside looking at the sky and all of a sudden we saw a bunch shooting stars in the distance, we were like "wow, pretty". They popped like fireworks. Then all of a sudden they got closer and before we knew it the friggin' 'stroids were hittin' the ground around us. We were like "oh shit, git the truck and head underground".
The weirdest part was the popping noise, it was so odd and realistic.

There is no information on the angle of entry and rock composition. The asteroid was discovered 1 day ago and there is no data on that.
The "few meters large, and burns up in the atmospheric entry" is the part that sounds ridiculously put for not causing panic.
A few meters large, can be enough, in the right entry angle and rock composition, to deliver a serious disaster, if it aims to a heavily populated area. |

Our planet is entering a part of the solar system on a bigger scale, this could be connected to the solar minimum, increased cosmic rays, CERN, "global warming", the next Ice Age, etc. We could be talking multiple asteroids here. |
