Watching BBC world here in Europe and they ARE saying Iceland is on the verge of going bankrupt. Crazy.
I have said it before and I will say it again - Iceland has refused to join the EU because they want to keep their fishing laws. Of course the EU will do what it has to in order to get Iceland and all of Europe.
I had some classes with some young girls from Iceland. They were nice and had beautiful eyes (you should see the girls from iceland - damn!) but they were clueless.
They were like, "you're from America huh? Oh what are you into - world peace? Americans are always talking about world peace" and then laughed.
I remember thinking - wow you guys are clueless about the world. How nice for you. You have no war. No problems. No international disputes.
Sad to see another one bite the dust but - welcome to the real world Iceland. :( |

Click on the Landsbanki link on the page yourself. I couldn't understand what it said because it was in Icelandic. I thought it might be useful to those who could read it. I knew it said 'error' but there was other information there as well which might have been useful. Maybe the page is set to come up as 'error'. I can't read it so I don't know. |
