Yep. That's what I got from the debate. Either way, they're going to take our money and put government in charge of stuff. Obama talked more about the benefits to regular middle class americans while McCain pretty much said "don't worry the government is taking care of it, that's all you need to know".
Quoting: PoeGood points here. I did hear McCain constantly say "I've got the solution, and I know how to get America back on track." But I never heard him say HOW. During the last debate, I felt the sense of "entitlement" I originally detected in McCain move over to Obama. Obama appeared to view the debate as a waste of time and a formality before he becomes president. Plus, he's dodging questions about his past ideology, which could be a serious matter if his current ideology still holds empahty for his "prior" leanings.
