It is a good time to pay attention to such reports I think.

We will hear little things first, then larger problems as people begin to notice that nothing is working as it should.

Of course if the trucks can't get fuel, the food doesn't go to the store, the cities don't eat...

If the cities don't eat for about three days, problems will ensue.

Stores looted and so on.

Which brings Martial law without all the hassles of having to work for it!

I have a Wright Express card for my truck.

So it begins people. If they don't fix this shit, think about how food, water, essentials are going to get delivered to stores, etc. Go to the stores now while you can. At the very least, if you take Rx meds, get them while you can. Better to be safe than sorry.

Does anyone not think for a second, with the daily barrage of bad news and global markets crashing, that there is not a "silent run" on CASH?


Cash is a commodity and in much demand and will soon become precious. Cash in our plastic credit card society is in short supply.

People should have been off their credit cards before now. It's not like nobody was warned a few years ago by the fringies.

I think this is a rumor. Everyone here in Central Iowa is able to fuel up with no problems.

I drove by 3 major truck stops this morning, fuel traffic was running smoothly & trucks were getting their fuel.

yep, once the transportation industry goes, it's over. that's the big one, not wall street. Even if the market crashed, life for most would go on. When food,water,medicine,supplies,exc can't get moved across the country, than it's over. I think you would see martial law right off the bat. They would be sending the supplies and everyone would get a food card. You go to the store once exc. and get so much you can spend.

Do you have any idea how much cash truckers would need to carry just to pay for gas? There would be muggings of trucks all the time for quick cash!

Remember though, most people in the United States has never even heard half the things we say on GLP and like sites.

Those with enough information to put things together right now are about, let's call it... 5% of the population?

The rest know only what they are told or eventually hear about from friends and relatives.

Over half the adult population does not even listen to a regular news broadcast.

Trust me, people are going to be caught unaware in the next week.

As things happen they will not understand why and will be very confused, then angry...

It is up to us to help them, if we can.

Our fuel up the other day was $648. That was Tuesday, today we are low on fuel. We'll fuel up when we get back to work on the 27th.

Not every truck has a $1,000 fuel up bill.

Yup, it makes me wonder about all those dropping prices for gas.

Next the Gas Station will place the Sign "CASH ONLY" or be charged $5.00

This means I'll be packing now , all the time.
