Of course if the trucks can't get fuel, the food doesn't go to the store, the cities don't eat... If the cities don't eat for about three days, problems will ensue. Stores looted and so on. Which brings Martial law without all the hassles of having to work for it! :) Take care and stay alert please friends. D. And all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us!" And I'll look down and whisper "No." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 501898 United States 10/10/2008 11:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So it begins people. If they don't fix this shit, think about how food, water, essentials are going to get delivered to stores, etc. Go to the stores now while you can. At the very least, if you take Rx meds, get them while you can. Better to be safe than sorry. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 331956 United States 10/10/2008 11:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cash is a commodity and in much demand and will soon become precious. Cash in our plastic credit card society is in short supply. |
truthhound User ID: 493706 United States 10/11/2008 12:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ONCE again, They have no intentions of "fixing this shit" this shit is well planned and perfectly executed so that you didn't see it coming and you don't know who to blame...hmmmm that sound ALOT like what happened on 9/11. Terror and chaos by design, perped by evil-doers in suits and ties with WHITE faces. If you have a bank with a SATURDAY branch, go in the morning and take all you can...or have...you decide, but please go. Monday is Columbus day...that's a bank holiday in my town...how about yours?...if this multi-day bank holiday is announced on Monday and the banks are closed anyway you better be A.) home and out of the fray...or B) go away this weekend leave the cities and ummm...make it a long weekend...see how this shakes down... IF they globalize, there is no FDIC to insure your accounts PEOPLE!!! they can THE END your money without an apology. this is as CODE RED as it gets before it is too late to WAKE UP! remain calm, be one of the ones with a plan and realize that you have power in in not feeding the fear... |

I drove by 3 major truck stops this morning, fuel traffic was running smoothly & trucks were getting their fuel. vaccinefreehealth blogspot com The risk far outweighs any benefit as the risk will vary from child to child. facebook.com/graphixyourway |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 522219 United States 10/11/2008 12:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yep, once the transportation industry goes, it's over. that's the big one, not wall street. Even if the market crashed, life for most would go on. When food, water, medicine, supplies, exc can't get moved across the country, than it's over. I think you would see martial law right off the bat. They would be sending the supplies and everyone would get a food card. You go to the store once exc. and get so much you can spend. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 509564 Malaysia 10/11/2008 12:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | People should have been off their credit cards before now. It's not like nobody was warned a few years ago by the fringies. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 523059Do you have any idea how much cash truckers would need to carry just to pay for gas? There would be muggings of trucks all the time for quick cash! |
Dancer User ID: 500559 United States 10/11/2008 12:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember though, most people in the United States has never even heard half the things we say on GLP and like sites. Those with enough information to put things together right now are about, let's call it... 5% of the population? The rest know only what they are told or eventually hear about from friends and relatives. Over half the adult population does not even listen to a regular news broadcast. Trust me, people are going to be caught unaware in the next week. As things happen they will not understand why and will be very confused, then angry... It is up to us to help them, if we can. Be safe and well friends. D. And all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us!" And I'll look down and whisper "No." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 376019 United States 10/11/2008 12:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Does anyone not think for a second, with the daily barrage of bad news and global markets crashing, that there is not a "silent run" on CASH? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 331956Cash is a commodity and in much demand and will soon become precious. Cash in our plastic credit card society is in short supply. Yup, it makes me wonder about all those dropping prices for gas. Next the Gas Station will place the Sign "CASH ONLY" or be charged $5.00 This means I'll be packing now , all the time. |
