Do some research.
In hunter/gather societies, gathering makes up 70% of all food, hunting only 30%. And guess who does the gathering? Yes, the women.

I was raised on a small farm. From young age I learned weapons, use of knives for many things and how to deal with animals, growing food, no electricity for weeks in the winter, etc... basically, survival skills. I do understand what you mean, about few women could actually survive in the outdoors. But, there are a number of us out there that can and do know how not only to take down a deer, but butcher and save the skin and as many parts as possible for future uses (if necessary). My 2 children are grown and on their own. My husband is deceased. But I do still have a Glock 21 to help with "the men that can force me to surrender".
