The only way now is to ask Jesus for forgiveness and to accept Jesus and believe in Him that He saved the world and God rose him from death... If you accept God in your heart, you will become child of God.... From then on, you will have relationship to God... If we have a child, we will tend to love our child and forgive endlessly and we will learn to be generous to our child but still disciplines our child....

A legal battle: God v Atheists

1. As we are all born with a natural standpoint on religion/no religion, it would be the requirement of God to prove his existence.

2. Unless God filed the necessary documentation, the court battle would not proceed.

3. Followers or the Church could not take on the challenge, as it would be considered hearsay.

4. Therefore, no action could be taken and we would all go back to the natural standpoint of no religion.

5. If God did appear and file the papers, he would certainly not be defending any known religion today. This is because man has changed religion far beyond what was originally considered. No one thinks that the bible should be interpreted literally, in fact so much contradicts itself, which means it is open to interpretation and therefore human error. (In civil law, it would not have any certainty and the court would rule against the Bible as the onus is one the writer to be clear and unambiguous).

6. One thing is for sure, you need to make up your own mind. Read the original scripture and read the original scripture of other religions (you may need to learn a few different languages!) consider science and make up your own mind. Do not ask anyone to tell you, because they blindly believe one thing or another (either science or religion).

Religion has been proven wrong many times - conclusively.
Science has been proven wrong many times (though not by the Bible, normally by other scientists) - conclusively.

However, too much science has conclusively proved religion to be wrong, and science can be wrong, the Bible should be true and correct to the letter. It is not.

That is why I am 100% positive that God doesn't exist. I would say that the commandments are good for society, such as thou shalt not kill, but in reality this is just common sense, every country has laws around this and not all believe in the 10 commandments. It is just part of natural law and our social contract.

Religion is also the cause of racial discrimination, hate and war. The real god will probably accept atheists more than anyone else.

Just so everyone knows...Brandon (OP) died two weeks ago...he committed suicide...apparently he had a note in his hands stating God made him do it. I do not know why his family contacted me but he told me about this site. I came to look gor answers on suicide but i found his post here. I was apalled from what i read because he was such a good kid. Religion doesnt hurt anyone. Karl Marx had it right religion is the ppiate for the masses. A little faith could help ease your tensions or ypur senses but a belligerentt parade against it is unnecessary. I am a spiritual person do not believe in church but believe in believing. To all those that take faith, no faith seriously as a cross to bear becareful because you could lead a path like OP.

The Kingdom of God is within You

There are many ways ways that I know there is a god, and I pray that one day you understand, but right now the only reason to address is that something is driving you to hate God. You will probably claim that you're here to lead all of us misguided believers away from the terrible lie that we have been brought to believe, but at the end of the day you know thats not it. It makes you angry that we believe and you can't explain it. Why should something that gets us through our lives bother you so much? I'll tell you that I believe in god and I could tell you why if you like, and if that is something you don't want to hear, then I wipe my feet of you and move on, but you hate that we believe and that to me is more proof that there is a god than any statistic you can throw my way. I'm sorry that you hate him, because he loves you immensely.

I have my doubts about a christian God but it is ignorant to say that there isn't a supreme power. no matter what bull shit answers you give to disprove a God there well always be the question why.
