They need the race to actually be close to pull it off. Before they just had to pull off the scam in Ohio - 2004 Florida - 2000. But now Obama is tied or leading in 9 states Bush won in 04, and is winning by large margins in the states Kerry and Gore won. You can stick a fork in this election.. its done. To be honest I don't know if he has said anything about that. But in my own opninion there's not much an American president can do. In communist countries the government curbs inflation by forcing companies to a keep prices artificially low.

Furthermore you don't think that every candidate has to submit it along with other paper work to the election commission when they declare their candidacy. There's a reason why the media and even the mccain campaign isn't paying attention to this story. the whole investigation is led by ex hillary supporters who are still bitter about her loss. if there was any truth to it don't you think Hillary would have pushed this story in the primary like she did rev. wright, ayes, and the other slanders that actually had some verifiable proof.
