Karma works in ways you'd never imagine. Your punishment can come in small doses throughout your life. However Karma is considered by the ignorant as "cruel" it just is. When your young karma works out very quickly...however when you reach "adulthood" which is different for everyone...Karma then takes a new form. Karma can determine the method of your death as well, if you die slowly and painfully of bone cancer...you deserved it. Hitler for example suffered many illnesses and dementia before his suicide, he carried all of his leftover karma with him as he passed so that his afterlife was more than likely not very fun. So there's a definite line that separates childhood from adulthood, and when an individual crosses that line, karma flips a switch and takes on a new form? Sounds very mechanical, as well as backwards. Shouldn't karma be more slow-acting for childhood since children are naive and tend to make more mistakes? It sure is cruel of karma to quickly punish ignorant kids, yet it doesn't act on adults until they're almost dead. Oh wait I'm just ignorant. What about children who are killed in war zones by bombs? Why do good people die and evil people prevail? Look at the state of our world. Your so called karma is failing miserably. By the way, karma in Buddhism literally translates to "action". The West's misconception of what karma actually means is hilarious and embarassing. |

According to the media he was scheduled to give a speech today but noticed that his heart was out of rhythm so went to get medical attention. He has atrial fibrillation which is fairly common in older individuals with bad hearts. I am sure the docs will get it under control with meds. They generally do. I guess we will have to believe the media. I certainly hope he gets better. I don't care for his politics but would not wish him ill.

If Cheney was dead, they would break the news slowly so as not to shock the financial markets.
This would be step 1.
Step 2 is breaking news that Cheney is in for "emergency surgery"
Step 3 is they announce he is dead. This would not happen until AFTER the markets close for the day.

You ought to get your facts straight. We are living in the 3rd dimension. And most everyone here has gotten karma wrong. More simply known as "universal justice," karma means that if you brutally kill someone in the life you're living now, in some other future life, you will be killed the same way. If you're a man and you rape a woman, then in some future life, you will be a woman who will be raped. It is simple cause and effect, meaning you will eventually experience the same or similar pain you have caused.
As for atrial fibrillation, it is more like a short in the heart's electrical system that causes the upper chamber to beat very fast while the lower chamber beats normally. If it is left untreated, it can kill you. Treatment is usually with IV medication and/or a shock by defibrilator. |
