The horror - Iraq vet murders woman, obeying "dark impulses"
A Fort Carson soldier admitted that he had violent sex with a 19-year-old woman before cutting her throat and leaving her to die in the wooded foothills west of Colorado Springs, according to an arrest affidavit released Tuesday.

Marko served in Iraq from January 2007 to February with a unit that has had some of the heaviest casualties of any Fort Carson unit in the Iraq war. He joined the Army in June 2006 and is a mortarman with Charlie Company, 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division.

He is the sixth 4th BCT soldier suspected or convicted of a local homicide since returning from Iraq. Two other soldiers from the brigade were tied to killings outside Colorado Springs - one in Fort Collins in 2005 and one in Los Angeles earlier this year.

this is the nature of war-young men who do not even have an idea of a what a real man is-does not have the tools to think as a much more seasoned man could-

they are trained to KILL

That is what they do and many lose their souls in the process-

bump for truth

and the rivers of people that will survive these and the coming war-but will forever be damaged by the shear horror of it all

bump for the young and those trapped in it-MAy the rest of us strive to end the perpetual wars

Just goes to show you that MOST if not ALL service members need to participate in a thorough Psychiatric Evaluation.

Cops too.

May not have been ordered, but learned to enjoy it.

Usually they try to catch these guys and "put them to work" if you know what I mean. A guy with that kind of attitude can be useful in certain circles.
