McCain looked like a psychotic old man sitting there while Obama was talking. His gestures, eye rolling, smirks and other uncalled for antics cost him many points tonight.
I watched it on CNN with their truth-o-meter scrolling on the bottom.
Nearly every time McCain started talking it went into negative territory.
Right now the MSNBC Poll reads:
Obama 80.8%
McCain 16.2%
Tie 1.3%
Not Sure 1.7%

Why does McCain always have to portray or be an Asshole during the debates. I have never seen such disrespect from any candidate as from what i have seen from McCain. The Constant look of I'm better than you, the condensending grunts from his voice and the constant interuptions. Why do we or anybody else put up with this behaivure.
Do you think he will give other world leaders the same disrespect that he gives to his political opponents? What about the personal insults to the leader of Iran from Palin on a televised debate. Can we afford leaders who will insult other world leaders on a personal basis. Not only to other world leaders in general, but countries that we have serious issues with.
This is one of my real problems with McCain/Palin. But don't get me started with the problems with Palin just by herself. With the position of Vice President holding unAccountable Power Can we afford a WitchHunter?

Obama took some serious damage tonight. It is interesting as you can tell when Obama gets rattled. He starts to studder and stammer his statements. He did a lot of that tonight.
It is about time the whole Ayers thing got out front and center. However, McCain should have articulated that better as he talked about how Ayers was unrepentant that he bombed buildings, but neglected to mention the number of people he killed in those attacks. That would have opened the jugular for sure...
Nice show though and about damn time.

Vote Obama if you prefer a further nationalization of private business and even more government regulations running your life. IF you envision an America that should walk down the path of moving Towards a Socialist System with Communist undertones and would prefer the federal government to ensure fairness for all and spreading of productive peoples wealth to unproductive members of society even more then This is your canidate.
Vote Mccain if you do not agree with moving America even further down the road towards Socialism and would prefer a chance at slimming down the size of the federal government. If you envision an America with more local and state control over your day to day life and believe in the american dream if you work hard you can make a good life for your own self then this is your canidate.
*** I do not think it matters which one you vote for if your trying to avoid a depression becuase becuase that is unavoidable but I do think nationalizing and socializing even further the fabric of America will lead to a MUCH MUCH MUCH longer recovery.
