Really? Strange.. I live 40 minutes drive from Edinburgh Castle, and as far as I'm aware, nobody lives there- not even the Queen.

If she does.. she needs to get her arse back to Buckingham Palace and restore Scotland's independence!

In all seriousness, I think you must be getting confused with Balmoral Castle which is closer to Aberdeen- NE coast on Scotland- but still, Balmoral is another of the remaining few amazing Scottish Castles that hasn't been left to ruin, so that "The Royals" can use it as a family retreat. Great way of avoiding the press when Prince Phil opens his big politically incorrect, marble filled cake-hole and puts his foot in it again.

Give me a break.. there is no place in a modern world for spoiled blue-bloods ruling over neighbouring countries who had their sovereignty stolen by agents of the crown.

I would accept a descendant of The Stuarts on an Independent, Scottish throne, but I do not accept that the House of Hanover are rightful Rulers of Scotland and I reject all that they represent.

What we really need is self determination FOR Scottish People BY Scottish people, and a new freedom fighter hero like William Wallace to champion Scotland's right to independence from Britain.

It's almost f**cking embarrassing to admit being a Scot. Our ancestors must be turning in their graves, wake the hell up and help reclaim our country so that at least your grandchildren can have a better life, people. For cryin out loud, get some of that Scottish passion stirring in your gut and let's show people what we're made of!
