I would gain control of the most powerful nation in the world;
Why stop at the most powerful..why not ALL nations?

I would delude their minds into thinking that they had come from man's effort, instead of God's blessings;
Which god? There are thousands of gods, all worshipped with just as much dedication.. as the Christian's idea of a god.

I would promote an attitude of loving things and using people,instead of the other way around.
I dunno'..given a choice between 'things' or peace and justice..I bet the majority of people would choose peace and justice.

I would dupe entire states into relying on gambling for their state revenue;
Gambling is an illness as all compulsions are. And just about everybody has some sort of compulsion.

I would convince people that character is not an issue when it comes to leadership;
Baloney..most people have been fooled into trusting their leaders..instead of trusting their own common sense.

I would make it legal to kill unborn babies;
Illegal or legal, this act has gone on since the beginning of time. It's a social injustice..and until the world changes..this and many other injustices will continue.

I would make it socially acceptable to take one's own life, and invent machines to make it convenient;
Suicide needs only one person's acceptance..not society's.

I would cheapen human life as much as possible so that the life of animals are valued more than human beings;
Some human beings behave worse than animals.

I would take God out of the schools, where even the mention of His name was grounds for a lawsuit;
Again..which god are you speaking of? And is there enough room for all of them in the school system?

I would come up with drugs that sedate the mind and target the young, and I would get sports heroes to advertise them;
"No" is a simple word that when applied here..saves lives.One need only say no.

I would get control of the media, so that every night I could pollute the mind of every family member with my agenda;
Back to the "No" definition again.

I would attack the family, the backbone of any nation.
The enemy can only grow strong.. if one allows it.

I would make divorce acceptable and easy, even fashionable. If the family crumbles, so does the nation;
Human error is found in all circles of society. It is what makes us human. Peace is always preferred over abuse.

I would compel people to express their most depraved fantasies on canvas and movie screens, and call it art;
We could use the word, "No" here again.

I would convince the world that people are born homosexuals, and that their lifestyles should be accepted;
Each person is born to follow their own path. And as long as that path does not harm another..it has a right to exist. Just as people who live alternate to these practices feel they have rights.

I would convince the people that right and wrong are determined by a few who call themselves authorities and refer to their agenda as politically correct;
There is no one way to live life..as long as each belief system does not infringe or injure the harmony of others..therefore right and wrong are open to interpretation.

I would persuade people that the church is irrelevant and out of date, and the Bible is for the naive;
Who's church? Who's religion? The church and religion you deem to be true..should be a private matter. Not forced upon others.

I would dull the minds of Christians, and make them believe that prayer is not important, and that faithfulness and obedience are optional;
The world is not made up of just Christians. Let Christians live as they see fit..and allow others to do the same.


Hmmm... I guess if I were the devil, I'd leave things pretty much the way they are.
