The same can be said for the taxes that are paid out to people who have kids from those who don't
YOUR kids are costing EVERYBODY billions a year, no matter how stupid or ugly they are.

There was someone who I used to work with. The perfume was so strong and overpowering, it entered the room before she did, and had caused someone with asthma to start using his inhaler every time she was in the room.
If you're going to ban smoking for health reasons, let's do the same with perfumes, colognes, and any product which has any kind of scent. |

Nobody said anything about habits stupid.
They wanted answers as to reasons the governments want people to quit smoking.
ONE: that it takes money away from your brats!
TWO: DUMB kids usually follow authority like sheep, and believe in government propaganda about smoking no matter the findings of studies.

They don't want us to quit.They want our money and taxes from tobbacco give them a lot of money and reduce what they pay out in social security.The proof is that they subsidized cigarrettes to other countries to get them hooked on American cigaretttes also.They can't contol spending so they tax something that is unpopular with many people to a greater extent.Since the majority of people don't smoke they willingly let the other guy pay a larger share of taxes and don't see themselves as the freeloaders they really are. |

They don't understand the poisonous smoke that comes from their exhausts.

I am related to a 20 plus year employee of "big tobacco"
Employees in the field spend their time promoting their "stop smoking" programs... not pushing cigarettes, yet, sales are brisk and international markets are booming and the USA is certainly holding it's on as far as the bottom line is concerned.
the retailers are paid to merchandise their brands in a very specific and rigid ways...but they do it however they are told, so they will get their check from "big tobacco" every month.
This relative has seen the tide turn with his company and tactics change, but nothing has really changed. What is interesting is what he really believes about cigarettes and their "harmful" effects. He is not a smoker, never has been, so he is interestingly objective, from his insider position...working for big tobacco, but doesn't use the product.
He knows that there is a LARGE amount of hype, that smoking is bad for you... see folks, it's all a show and a mindfck on the people...
second hand smoke threat - total BS.
The word that I get from him is that it is the amount of cigarettes smoked in a day that can lead to a problem for health...not the smoking itself. but do you think that big tobacco is going to ever mention this??? no...they like that a pack a day is considered "average" if smokers would smoke a half to a third less everyday they would really never have a health issue directly related to smoking.
This relative who works for big tobacco, his mother died from lung cancer. She never smoked and she turned to him for an answer to why if she never smoked, and never hung out with smokers, did she of all people get lung cancer?
and he told her, very frankly, that the cancer link was all just a big hyped up notion that works to the advantage of big pharma... who is in bed with big tobacco... come on folks, NEVER EVER BELIEVE WHAT You HEAR ON TV. Do you really think that anything big tobacco/big pharma etc promotes as truth is going to be the TRUTH? |

Smokers tend to die of heart disease, the second leading cause of smoker death is emphysema, lung cancer is way down the list and cross correlations for lung cancer against exposures to other industrial pollutants and/or disel smoke are higher for those that don't smoke than for those that do.
Above Ground Nuclear Testing and now DU dusting. But who is banning DU? No one. Gotta dump that nuclear waste somewhere where it will do some harm rather than recycling it back into nuclear fuel. |

This drink has nothing to do with smokers and everything to do with people who are extremely addicted to nicotine.
NOTICE the attempt here is to propagandize about 'how extreme and nicotine depraved' smokers are in their attempts to get nicotine into their bodies.
