I am an air battle manager on a JSTARS in the Air Force. There is no descernable noise from the elevators, ailerons or rudder. I've sat through many midair refuelings and even more turbulence when the pilots are constantly working the controls and there is NO NOISE from the ailerons, elevators or rudder. I also routinely fly in commercial jets for various TDYs and deployments and I've watched the flight controls moving. Again no noise. The only time you hear something is from the flaps or landing gear. Punisher wrong yet again. |
