There is a thread with link upon this forum stating there is snow in the UAE for the first time - ever!
The weather is freaky and will get even stranger. It is being blamed upon global warming caused by green house gases. It is interesting that the Pentagon ordered a report on the subject "Abrupt Climatic Weather" Change". About a year ago the Guardian in the UK ran an article about the existence of the "Top Secret" report and under pressure from the media the report was made public. Why would the Pentagon order such a report in the first place? It´s as if they knew something was amidst or had gone astray.
The report holds a very bleak forecast for the future of planet Earth. Massive global flooding, freak hurricanes, tornadoes, temperature extremes, etc.. It claims the weather will get so bad that nations will fight over diminishing resources (food and water). It claims billions will die.
I first read the report about a year ago when it was first made public. I live in Northern California near Sacramento. The report mentions the Sacramento Delta. Specifically:

In June 2004 there was a huge break in one of the Sacramento delta levees causing fresh and salt water to mix. It was huge news on the local NBC affiliate KCRA.com
The delta island levees feeds the aqueduct system which is the irrigation for the San Joaquin agricultural bed. For those not familiar with it, the San Joaquin is one of the largest farm producing districts in the world. Because of the aqueduct, what once was desert has been transformed into an agricultural paradise. The aqueduct also supplies water to about 22 million people throughout Central and Southern California (L.A.).

The point I´m making is that some of the things discussed in the report are already starting to occur. The producers of the movie "The Day after Tomorrow" with Dennis Quaid must have taken their concept right from the Pentagon Report.
I have kept a close eye upon H.A.A.R.P. for a number of years now. I think I first discovered its existence about 8 years ago. Here is the best photo image I´ve ever come across...

If you´re not yet educated about HAARP. Here´s a quickie overview: It´s a U.S. Military project which shoots a powerful super high frequency beam into the ionosphere. The gov´t claims it is for better submarine communication. Activist claim it is a device to control the weather. Imagine the military advantage of being able to whip up a hurricane or a tsunami upon command? How about even an Earthquake?
There´s no arguing that globally, our weather keeps getting more bizzare. The hurricanes that hit Florida recently were unprecedented. We have seen countless headlines concerning strange weather the world over for about 3 years now, and it seems to be getting worst. The debate begins with the question: What´s causing it? Could it be a combination of the green house gases and bad science at HAARP? Did HAARP have something to do with the Tsunami crisis on Dec 26, 2004?
I predict we are going to see even more strange weather and geological events. I also predict that the frequency of occurrence will accelerate.

Here´s a partial list of great tsunamis this century:
1929 - An earthquake near Canada´s Grand Banks triggers an Atlantic Ocean tsunami.
1946 - An earthquake in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska triggers a Pacific-wide tsunami.
1952 - An earthquake off the coast of Kamchatka Pennisula, Russia triggers another Pacific-wide tsunami
1957 - An earthquake south of the Aleutian Islands causes yet another tsunami.
1960 - An earthquake off the coast of Chili triggers a very damaging Pacific Ocean tsunami.
1964 - An earthquake occuring in Prince William Sound of Alaska is the cause of another Pacific-wide tsunami.
1975 - An earthquake near Hawaii triggers another large Pacific Ocean tsunami.
1994 - (June) An earthquake off the coast of Java triggers an Indian Ocean tsunami.
1994 - (December) HAARP begins initial testing.

site. I agree with what you are implying. But the weather in general (globally) has been getting weird. Maybe HAARP doesn´t have a damn thing to do with weather, and maybe it does. The govt is not exactly being upfront with us about many things. What is also weird is that we had two great earthquakes three days apart. There was a quake which struck between Australia and the Antarctic on Dec 23, 2004 with a magnitute 8.1

All reputable meteorologists disagree...Just because your limited experience (I am guessing 20-30 years of your lifespan) shows you that weather changes from year to year means squat...You do realize that the Thames used to freeze solid enough to skate on and have a ´fair´ on?

The U.S. Weather Service. That´s why no matter which channel for forecast you flip to, it is pretty much the same... wrong about half the time. I am not going to sit here and dredge up the multitude of links which prove the weather has been going weird, by any standard. Do your own f**king footwork. Start by reading the Pentagon report, for which I did supply a link.
If you´ve read the report then I assume you understand what´s being said between the lines.
As for my age, I am 51. Retired electronics technician and business owner. The corporate govt retirement program is to keep your ass working until a couple of years before you keel over. I opted for plan B, my plan. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I know the US govt track record for honesty is zip. At the age of 19 during the Vietnam War I got a real good education in corporate government and the principles of reversed economics.
Now why don´t you tell me a little bit about what makes you so cock sure everything is on track and the technology couldn´t have anything to do with global changes?

All the people crying ´weird weather´ have is their small view of the situation...To them, the ´few days´ will just further ´prove´ their idiotic points...They are all unwilling (or unable) to independantly think about the situation...Try looking at the historical forensics of tree ring growth and climate conditions...
It will show you that the Earth weather goes in cycles...You can also pinpoint anomalous periods such as weather changes due to known (historically dated) volcanic eruptions...Science has built a very accurate ´composite map´ of yearly weather that goes back in some areas to 8000 BC (specifically the Bristlecones of California)...
Try learning about Dendrochronology, and Paleoclimatology... |

How many in the Eastern Seaboard are seeing the sun at all? We are buried under a pile of haze and clouds, causing much havoc on the peoples and introducind many sicknesses to our environment. I lean toward the stance that they are attempting to prevent a disaster by altering our atmosphere but I wonder if they are creating more chaos in the process?

Now start surfing around the internet locating credible news articles which backup the report. You will be amazed at what you´ll come across, trust me.
We have a very big problem with the weather. It has not been going on for a few days or a few months. It´s been going on for almost 10 years. It has been getting gradually worst during that time. Most lately, it appears to be accelerating. I personally believe we are going to see another crisis, this one will be either off the coast of France/England or in North Africa -- soon.

Sorry, but it is true and anyone can prove it. Just call up any TV station, radio station or newspaper. Ask to speak to their metrologist and ask them if they get their forecast from the NOAA National Weather Service. They will say yes, but we then provide our own interpretation. I would be amazed to come across a "white paper" of this magnitude and not find a disclaimer. As I have previously stated, some of the events described in that report have already started to manifest, believe what you want for now, but next year and the one after will make denial almost impossible. The process of acceleration is non-linear. You will be shitting bricks before 2005 becomes 2006.

As for HAARP controlling the weather in some way, how, pray, does it manipulate solar activity, the coriolis effect and a sea surface temperatures?
Maybe before making incredible claims some of the woo-woos should study some very, very, basic meteorlogy?
In short, this is NO POSSIBLE WAY for controlling the weather! Let´s face it, we can´t predict what it´ll do tomorrow as it is! It´s a chaotic system with hundreds of constantly changing variables - simply affecting one of those variables (as HARRP is supposed to do) will do absolutely zilch.
Btw, last years hurricanes were far from unprecedented. High activity was expected based on well known multi-decadal cycles. Activity will decline again in the Caribbean in another 15 or 20 years.
There is nothing freaky about the weather. Just freaky folk with nowt better to do than get freaked out over nowt.

Are you one of the kiddies... cuz you sound really scared. 2005 will be worst than 2004, followed still yet a worst year in 2006 and 2007. The weather and its situation will keep getting worst each year for a long time.
Diminishing of global resources will result in war, which will compound the failure. By 2007 there will be much flooding especially in Europe. When a Sacramento delta Island Levee broke in June (as predicted in the Report), that was my wakup call. Likewise, you will get your wakeup call.
