Historically Democratic presidents have been far more positive for the stock market then conservative ones.

Besides the following 2 years most downturns can in no way be attributed to the next administration (no matter if it was McCain or Obama).

Predictions for Friday, November 7th

DJIA: down 12.5%
NASDAQ: down 15%
S&P 500: down 18%

Prediction for Monday, November 10th

DJIA: down 13%

slight recovery on following Tuesday

flat for remainder of month
