Here Lies Al Gore User ID: 429261 United States 11/03/2008 08:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just 10 years ago, Gore told the Democratic National Convention that after his sister Nancy's needless death in 1984 from lung cancer, he committed himself "heart and soul into the cause of protecting our children from the dangers of smoking." In his new film, Gore again dredges up his sister's death and how it led his once tobacco-growing family to turn away from tobacco. After the DNC speech, reporters with memories intervened. America learned that contrary to his rhetoric, in 1988 Gore campaigned as a tobacco farmer who told his brethren that "all of my life," I hoed it, chopped it, shredded it, "put it in the barn and stripped it and sold it." The year his sister died, Gore helped the industry by fighting efforts to put the words "death" and "addiction" on cigarette-warning labels. For years, Gore supported Big Tobacco in other ways. You could call the above "inconvenient" facts -- that you won't see in the movie. |

This is a time of great personal loss not ambitious political celebrations spending other peoples money the only way he knows how. Lotus i love satan |

This is a time of great personal loss not ambitious political celebrations spending other peoples money the only way he knows how. Quoting: Lotus FeetLotus It wasn't the Republicans who engineered the 700 billion dollar bailout of the corrupt banking industry. Maybe that wasn't other people's money. You are accusing Obama of doing something he hasn't, in fact, done, which the current administration has actually done. Is this blind devotion, or short term memory problems or is it just pitiful ignorance? I believe the Republicans threw the election with their selection of Palin. I am sure the McCain supporters are the subject of much mirth and merriment of the RNC. I mean, they chose the most unelectable candidate because none of the big boys wanted to be part of a doomed ticket. It's like one big RNC joke on you guys. |

Obama_Must_Go User ID: 461378 United States 11/04/2008 08:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | her death is the best thing for him she won't be able to vote McCain and now someone else will vote for her plus he get sympathy votes now He's plays anything for a vote A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague...Cicero |
