When did you realize you were transsexual?


I knew when I was about 4 or 5 ... I didn't have a word for it put I couldn't understand why silly grown ups kept saying I was a boy.



It must have been hard for you growing up. I can't imagine it was too easy for your family, either. And all I mean by that is that it must have been a confusing ride for everyone.

It also marginalizes you into a stereotype.

In all honestly, I support transgender people. And I support your right to be who you want to be. But I take issue with you and your pals as you market porn on here and describe yourself as transexual and misrepresent the transgender community.

You act like the stereotypical transgender woman that marginalizes who you are or want to be. I am naturally inclined to be suspicious of older transitioners particularly those who have had families earlier in their lives...but understand that I support your right to live your life how you want. That being said, I am uncomfortable with how you carry yourself / present yourself.

I disagree. Transsexuals don't market porn "Shemales" do. I for one have never done any porn. The fact that I do have a cxlose friend that is a "Shemale" upsets many Transsexuals ... But you know what ... She is a Good Person too, pon is her job and not who she is.

Completely honest question with no offense meant: Why do transgender folks always seem to be a caricature of the gender they're becoming? I realize this is a stereotype, and I'm not just thinking of RuPaul or Divine, I've met others who seem to dress very flamboyantly, walk flamboyantly, speak with phrases like girlfriend, honey, darling, and have uncommon names like Nikki, Trisha.

For me it was a living Hell!

I lived in fear for almost 1/2 a century

I made it though .. many of my sisters don't!

In Canada, they would diagnose a man who identifies as a woman but is still sexually attracted to women, as a "Gynophilliac" - one who loves women so much, he wants to be one.

Gender reassignment is no longer recommended for this condition.

I wouldn't suggest that Nikki not be proud of her friend because other people might not like what she does. If people want to use it for their own prejudice, that is a flaw in them. That's her friend and she accepts her.
