Of course, being in la-la land is just what people count on, as they get over on you. Quoting: Transcend Fear 379014Instinct is totally different from fear. Instinct is your own internal warning system which you either choose to follow or not. It is there to guide you, not blind you. Fear on the other hand, totally blind's you to the truth of what is really happening, in any situation. It makes you act irrationally, without thinking and can over-welm you making it impossible to see clearly. Fear is man's own worst enemy and through fear we destroy, instinct is their to guide you not blind you!! |

Inctinctual warning stance is more akin to natural chi utilization, e.g., animal form. It should actually bring out the best in your abilities, all of them. That is where the transcendance from instinct to courage occurs. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 545402 United Kingdom 11/07/2008 06:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I do not experience fear. Situations that make some fearfull make my instincts hightened and reflexes fast. Quoting: Transcend Fear 379014It is good that you don't act on fear, in any potentially dangerous situation it is good to look with clarity of mind and at possible outcomes based on the knowledge you have to hand or by trusting your instinct-this is not fear this is wisdom. fear can immobilize you and can stop you from acting in the wisest way because it makes you cower away from making the best choice and can paralize you making you act irrationally. Some people count on your fear as a way of controlling you-without they fear they have no power over you. |

Please define more where you think instinct comes from-We all have it but have you ever questioned why you have it and where it comes from? It is a biochemical physiologic response to external stimuli. First you eyes, or your ears, tactile vis-a-vis proprioception (the 21) trigger a sequence of biochemical releases. Adrenaline floods your bloodstream, you may experience changes in heart rate, blood pressure, sweating, etc., or not. Adrenaline is a drug, it is very much how you handle this flow of chemicals. And each person is unique. Each person has their own physiologic makeup and chemical balances or imbalances. There are many factor that would influence a persons reaction to various external stimuli. I also must be emphatic that I thoroughly believe that God used a template system which is reflective in a persons natal chart. If you know this information, you can pretty much ascertain how a person is going to react to external stimuli of various origin. Also, it is significant that over 60% of our reactions to other people is based on nonverbal ques, i.e. body language. |

I have not asked you to post research. You have no knowledge of me or of any research I have done. You so easily sit in judgement of others when all I did was ask you a simple question. Knowledge should be shared not kept from other's, if a question is asked a truthful answer should be offered (To the best of the person's ability). Yes, fear is a human emotion which can spur some people on to do great things-but on the other hand it can also be man's greatest downfall. All emotions have a positive or negative use, it is only through wisdom that we are able to rise above our emotions and to see a situation for what it is. Emotions can so easily blind because they pull you in one direction making you choose one side or the other. Wisdom will make you look at both sides and understand the reasons why both sides act the way they do. To understand why someone acts the way they do you need to rise above all emotions and see the facts. |
