I'm with ya OP... and I too believe that this is damning evidence proving his complicity in the whole sordid affair. Problem is that the fix was in from the beginning and every government controlled investigative entity was not gonna tell us the truth, no matter what physical evidence was found. But you're right, and no cover up can make that look go away or explain it either!
