Your longing strikes me as someone living far away from home. The land around Arizona feels immensely sacred; it's not surprising so many people feel pulled there and that the people who lived/live in the area developed deep insight. It's at the top of my list of places to visit. |

If I had a choice, I'de want to be in Oraibi. Not a day goes by I don't think about that place, and Hopi. I read all I can find about them (which isn't much !!). I see faces in pictures and it makes me welt up in my eyes. Me, a hardcore construction-worker/biker/veteran ........ tears when I see a Hopi face, young/old/man/woman/child, doesn't matter who. Every couple days I open Google Earth and just look there. Hell, my Google Earth open with Hopiland as the start point. You could blindfold me, drop me by air into the rez, and I would know where I am. I know ........ frikken pitiful, lol. I am NOT a human !! |
