Our “adversary” media have been extremely deferential toward those promoting the looting of the American taxpayers during the ongoing economic and financial crisis. However, Bloomberg News should be congratulated for filing suit against the Federal Reserve in an effort to disclose the securities the central bank is accepting on behalf of American taxpayers as collateral for $1.5 trillion of loans to banks such as Goldman Sachs.
.......“The American taxpayer is entitled to know the risks, costs and methodology associated with the unprecedented government bailout of the U.S. financial industry,” said Matthew Winkler, the editor-in-chief of Bloomberg News. .....
.....The China connection to Goldman Sachs figures prominently in the current crisis. Because China owned $376 billion of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae paper, it played a big role in the financial crisis, and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, with his own personal and financial ties to China, admittedly tried to reassure the Chinese through this process that their investments would be protected. They are being “protected” in the sense that the American taxpayers are now on the hook for these government mortgage companies, which have been nationalized.
On top of this, Paulson, a former CEO of Goldman Sachs, made sure, as part of the bailout legislation, that he could bail out Chinese banks holding other troubled U.S. assets.
Schiff, who blows the whistle on these schemes, is not very popular in the media, which have been telling us consistently that things would get better after Wall Street was bailed out. But Schiff was on Bloomberg on October 28 talking about how the problems will get worse if we continue to follow the current tax, spend and bailout policies. His basic message is that the U.S. is broke and that the situation will get worse under an Obama Administration because of its commitment to more federal interference and involvement in the economy.

This stinks to high heaven and has done ever since the debacle came to light. Why Paulson and his cronies aren't gone yet is beyond me. Good for Barack for not wanting to get tarnished by that,  unlike John who suspended then unsuspended his campaign because of it! We are in a huge mess both because of greed on the part of some and others being asleep at the wheel. I am REALLY pisse off!I bet they are all off to Paraguay with their ill gotten gains! |

The FED is a private corporation and a criminal conspiracy against America.
The proof is in the bailouts...our tax money is being used to socialize their losses, while the banks profits are privatized.
The effect this will have is that of a giant wealth transfer mechanism, the largest in history, from the people to the elite. |

The poster who posted the snip from the Declaration of Independence had a great point. The Declaration does not ask or require you to prove anything other than your dissatisfaction with your current government.
Now as you say, some people have known for quite a long time about this Federal Reserve business... a very long time. Both major political parties for instance. Therefore the government is not functioning as it should. It should be abolished and replaced. With certain families forever barred from participation in government. |

Sir, how will you prove to the American people that the Federal Reserve isn't a government institution?
And everyone knows that government steals. Everyone doesn't know how to prove it so it becomes allegations and assumptions against the government.
And the part about the Declaration is well within getting the Majority of the people to follow you, but for them to follow you, you must prove to the people what you are saying is true. And therefore some sort of proof is always necessary not for an official court I might add, but nonetheless proof to the Public Joe that wrong doing has been established. |
