The boy has correctly denied that he is Buddha. All those superstitious people who think he is the reincarnation of Buddha should study their Buddhism. Gautauma entered Nirvana when he left the physical universe. He no longer needed to reincarnate. He was a jivamukti, a God-realised human being who had completed his spiritual evolution and has no more karma that required his rebirth in order to expiate. Those who enter Nirvana do not need to get reborn.

This boy is an example of the ancient Hindu and Buddhist tradition whereby spiritually advanced yogis & saints become aware when still very young of the reason for their rebirth - to become spiritually perfect (to become like Christ). That's why they start meditating at an early age. He is a young rishi.

The trouble with so many people is that they have no understanding of the signposts along the spiritual path to God. They analyse unfamiliar situations that they don't understand in terms of the simplistic concepts that their religious education and upbringing have brainwashed them to use.
