and it seems most can't remember what happened 1 month ago. i find that odd. my memory is just as bad. i remember trivial stuff, not world information, politics stuff. maybe it's just me? maybe i am average? i do a lot of research to verify my thoughts on topics on glp because i cannot remember details. now, if i am on par with the majority of humans in the usa, does that mean the tptb have a hand in this? if they do, what is the delivery system? it just seems wierd that if i asked someone what they were doing exactly one week ago at the exact same time that i posed this question, few really know if they do not have a daily routine.

The OP is on to something here. Not to mention how quickly everything seems to be happening now. It feels like all of a sudden, I turned around and it was five years later. I hardly remember any of it. These were years filled with signifigance for my family, and still, it seems like a complete blur. It never felt like this before. I think time may be speeding up and that it may be related somehow to reaching our galactic center. And believe you me, I don't really go for that astrology stuff.

People change, cultures change, everything changes. We all act weird and annoying to people from the previous generations, and people from a hundred years ago probably think half of us are on crack.

People start acting a certain way, and it eventually becomes the status quo

well, i don't think i will do the tin foil thing, but i did know an astrophysist that wrapped his monitor in tin foil. he was the most talented scientist in the group but was also "eccentric".

i thought it was just me too, but i started noticing that people on glp seem to have mental lapses where the remember their conclusion on certain topics but cannot remember what that decision was based on. there are two type of people here, ones that speak about their conclusion and those who dig up the facts or sources to help keep the discussion on topic. in both cases, they had forgotten the details.

I remember exactly what I was doing 1 year ago? Do you really think people living in the country side feel time to be going up? Time is not speeding up! If time was to speed up... so would our minds. What some of you are proposing is that our minds are somehow separate from time! Bullocks!

Interconnectiveness is increasing so it me seem like there is more going on... but time is not speeding up.

Also blame fluoride, mercury, depleted soils, the meds we take, and a barrage of toxins in our foods and drinks-it's mind numbing. Society has been deliberately engineered to suck big time, just full of falsity and illusion. Didn't you once believe in our govt.? How about Santa? Perhaps the Easter Bunny (dumb kids maybe)? In my case, I tend to think something happened a year or two ago, only to be taken aback when I find out it actually happened eight or nine years ago.

The Comet Holmes stuff, eg, was a year ago - though it's hard to believe that much time has elapsed since Kent was getting us all riled up about it.

Time sure does seem to be speeding up...

The fact that our entertainment and media is all aimed towards short attention spams and memory, as well as the fact that automation makes many tasks less mentally challenging, means one shouldn't be surprised if the bulk of our western population is slowly growing more and more retarded.

I don't even think its some kind of nefarious masterplan from evil overlord wannabes, but rather a product of our particular culture, an inevitable one. An old idea that.. much of our science fiction tries to depict the outcome of such a trend.

Plus individually.. we get older, our brains slow down, etc.. The brain is like a muscle that needs to be exercised too, to stay in shape.

it is true that most people do their most significant work before the age of thirty. but i am not too sure our brains (if properly worked) slow down. but i guess, if i consider that the older your body the fewer cells are replaced most noticably the skin. so it seems reasonable that our brain cells don't do what they did when they were younger.

i came up with another theory.

i remember something i read in the stephen hawkings the history of time (i think that was the title) in it he said that time is perpendicular to the three dimensions, x,y,z planes in euclidean cooridinate system. that would mean the time "speeding up" is not possible in linear terms. if that is the case i would say that dimensional shifts would more likely occur and cause memory distortion, like the blurring effect. but just a theory i am throwing out here.

i remember a couple of "snap shot" memories as a child, like my first day in kindergarten because i had a bad case of separation anxiety.

this is fun stuff to think about though.

Agreed.
I'm really careful about most of the things that I ccan avoid.
Never used flouride toothepaste, good organic diet etc.
It seems a lot of this memory loss thing is physical.
I'm over 55 but my health and memory are excellent.
Not boasting just saying.
I find it really difficult to talk to people these days as they don't seem to be able to remember the thread of the conversation let never mind the day before, and often what they say is just parrot stuff anyway.
And I'm thinking WTF till I remember that "this person uses flouride toothepaste, cell phone, watches a lot of TV..."
It's really, really noticeable.
Get rid of the crap in your diet, and environment if you want to even be able to think, let alone remember.
And wearing silk seems to mitigate radiation from HAARP etc FWIW.

Most people have become mindnumbed robots. Almost nobody has a sense of history anymore. I have slowed time down. It's all about staying in the present and experiencing the moment. Time now seems like it did when I was a child. The year stretches out in front of me in what seems like a very long time. Do not live in the past (most people do) and do not live in the future.

Time has changed in that a matter of seconds can make a huge difference in our level of happiness at any point.
Take for example being 1 minute late to work or you looked up 2 seconds to late to see a touch down or you missed the bus by 10 seconds. etc etc etc

Take for example your average ring tone on a phone gives you about 5-15 seconds to pick up and answer.
Playing video games or watching tv one might miss the beginning of a show or the end because they had to run to the bathroom or get food.

EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SPED UP and BROKEN DOWN INTO SMALL TIME FRAMES
We have got to be quick in this world.
