“Gays” Call for Violence Against Christian Supporters of Prop 8

This country it truly just like Sodom and Gomorrah...sooner or later it's gonna burn..equal right? wow...whats next..equal rights for people that wanna scew animals? Homosexual life style is immoral, sick and should have no place in our society.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 510429
Hmmm...what does the Bible and other religious texts say about the sins of Sodom?
Ezekiel (16:48-49) "This was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, surfeit of food and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy."
Wisdom (19:13) "And punishments came upon the sinners not without former signs by the force of thunders: for they suffered justly according to their own wickedness, insomuch as they used a more hard and hateful behavior toward strangers."
Pride? Prosperous ease? Hard and hateful behavior towards strangers?
Did Jesus ever mention Sodom and Gomorrah? Yes. In the book of Matthew (10:11-15) "Whatever town or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy, and stay until you leave...If any one will not welcome youor listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town. Truly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town."
Jesus understood the sin of Sodom to be inhospitality, yet his so-called followers continue to reference the story to condemn gays and lesbians. Gays are not allowed to fit in. They don't have equal rights. They are discriminated against in the workplace and society in general. They are beaten and killed on the streets.
That sort of oppression is the SIN of which the people of Sodom were guilty.
Such behavior is what the Bible actually condemns over and over again. So those who oppress homosexuals because of the supposed "sin of Sodom" may themselves be the true Sodomites who are in danger of God's judgment! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 400833 11/17/2008 12:49 PM | | Re: “Gays” Call for Violence Against Christian Supporters of Prop 8 | Quote | YOU PATHETIC LYING PIECE OF SHIT!
Most pedophiles are STRAIGHT! The vast majority. And get it thru your head that no one advocates sex with children! No one gay or straight whos human and/or decent would do such a thing. People who commit those acts, regardless of the gender of their victim are just sick fucks who probably should forfeit their right to live. They are not homosexual. They are psychotic!
As for raping anyone - the gay community does not have that problem. We don't need to "rape" anyone. There are far too many who are ready, willing, and able in every city and neighborhood in this nation. Why take and risk a jail sentence what some will willingly give to you? Heterosexuals produce the VAST majority of rapists in this nation. Some males, apparently are so desperate for a go round in a vagina that they are willing to use force to get it! Why? I'll never know! But check your statistics before you run your big fucking stupid mouth!
As for AIDS and HIV - they hit the gay community first in the US. It was not so in other countries. Africa some 90% of all cases of HIV are HETEROSEXUAL in origin. In the US today, the biggest segment of the population with skyrocketing HIV and AIDS diagnosis are the young people of color (black and hispanic) between the ages of 18 and 30! And some 95% of these new cases are HETEROSEXUAL in origin! So don't count your moral superiority to keep you free from a VIRUS that knows no gender. It's passed by the exchange and passing of bodily fluids. The virus neither knows nor cares if that body it's infecting is heterosexual or homosexual. It only looks for White Blood Cells to latch on to and infect.
Now go back under your religious rock and wait for your version of "Jesus" to come and condemn everyone who's different that you are! But if I remember correctly Jesus told us to lover our neighbor as we love ourselves. Your hatred of people and your seizing on the right to condemn anyone is going to, as I understand scripture, be the thing that most likely sends you to hell! I certainly hope so anyway. It may be the only way to get bigots and haters like you out of the human gene pool once and for all!
I wonder what someone like you must look like? I'd bet a whole lot of money that male or female you are so unattractive you can't find a sexual partner for more than one drunken evening and when they sober up and see you, they run like hell! That would explain in part your anger and insane rage, anyway.
The fact is that homosexuals rape/seduce young boys and girls and give them AIDS and HIV. So why should their filthy ways be accepted by society. They sure will not be when Jesus Christ returns.

A lot of people I know are now giving money and time to fight against the homosexuals. I have found it truly amazing and a breath of fresh air that people from all walks of life are coming out to retain a decent society for future generations.
As you know, a good field general not only defeats the enemy (no on Prop 8), but also chases the enemy down and crushes all memory of them.

sure, hit me with your pocketbook---- I'm scared!!!
As one of us once said, "I may look like a woman but I fight like a man."
It would be good if you made up your minds what you wish to be. It appears whatever suits the moment and that smacks of having your cake and eating it.
Someone mentioned Jesus and how he would feel about it all. Well you all know that he was a pacifist but he did not resist darkness. He would tell the gays to trample their garments of pride under their feet just like he told the priests to do. He would support peaceful means to human rights but would not support violence in any form to attain it. He would say if someone took your jacket give them your shirt as well. He would ask you to find contentment within yourselves and make peace with yourselves. A truly humble person does not ask for anything, they are content with their lot.
There was a time when gays were in the closet, they came out but that doesn't mean it is right for children to be taught about gay relationships in schools. Sexuality is a private matter and not to be paraded on the streets. He would teach you to respect your elders and to know your place in society. He would tel you that if you healed yourselves then marriage and security would not be an issue for you. He would remind you of the scriptures that at the resurrection people do not marry anymore. He would tell others to accept you and would ask that you to do the same for others. Would he condone children being in gay marriages? I feel not.

 | | Re: “Gays” Call for Violence Against Christian Supporters of Prop 8 | Quote | The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision.
The Bible contains 1'189 chapters, 31,173 verses, and 807,361 words. Out of all that you have 6 (not many, many) passages that you say "condemn" homosexual behavior.
Genesis 19
Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13

I have stated that it makes me proud to see the people I know and many others fight for decency AFTER the defeat of prop 8. Do you see the parallel? I cannot be any clearer than that. Let's resort to name calling when we can't debate intellectually, shall we.
The inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah were supposedly trying to have sex with ANGELS, not human beings, remember?. Hence the Greek words sarkos heteras translated as "strange or alien flesh." Verse 6 of Jude alludes to a verse in Genesis 6 where women (not men) were having sex with "the Sons of God."
An early Jewish tradition in the non-biblical Book of Jubilees 7:20-21 and 20:5-6 suggest that the women of Sodom wanted to have sex with the angels staying in
Lot's house.
So it seems to me that YOU are picking and choosing scripture to justify your ignorance. If you had the spirit of the law instead of the letter, we wouldn't be having this debate. |

Spirit on the Law? from someone who is twisting the scriptures to defend homosexuality? you got to be joking me Quoting: Anonymous Coward 510429
Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Sounds like homosexuality will neither deny nor confirm your ticket to heaven! Case closed And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. |

That's why brothers and sisters should never be allowed to marry, but why gay marriage is fine. There is no slippery slope. |

I have a solution since you don't want gays in your life.
When your home is on fire and you praise god the firefighters walk away.
You pray to God to Live the gay doctor walks away.
When your home is robbed and you ask God for help the gay cop walks away Quoting: NikkiLaVey
I really wish you would stop pretending that you don't know what point people are trying to make here.
Being gay, lesbian, tranny, whatever, is a private matter. We are just sick to death of hearing about it and having it thrust in our faces every time we turn around. What is with all the costumes, effeminate mannerisms, unseemly public sexual displays, lisping, interior design fixations, etc.? What does all that have to do with one's private sexual preference? Is all that stuff genetic too?
No. It isn't. It's a desperate attempt to seek attention. To shock and disturb people is the goal because many g/l/b/t just can't survive without all the attention on themselves at all times - and negative attention will do just fine. There's no attempt to emphasize common ground with straights, nor is there any respect for our societal norms and timeless customs - because that's not the endgame for g/l/b/t. The end game is "notice me" and this bunch will destroy any and every obstacle to achieving their next attention "fix".
And before you demonstrate for the umpteenth time what nailing jello to a wall is all about, YES Nikki, the vast majority of your kind display some (if not all) the affectations described above, and given that such affectations are not intrinsic to gays - they serve no purpose but to deliberately offend others. I really don't care and nor do I believe that "most gays don't do this" so don't even bother. YES, they do. And they know very well that if their attention-seeking stunts also pollute the culture and mock tradition, so much the better.
THAT'S what people are sick of - and you damn well know it. YES, we'd all appreciate it if gays would knock it off. We really don't care what you do in your bedroom - and if you'd all go back to keeping it there you'd find out that I'm right about this. It is the BEHAVIOR that we'd like to see disappear. It's selfish, narcissistic and childish, and as those qualities always are in all types of people, it's loathsome to the rest of us and downright annoying as well. |

I hope everything changes in the States.....in possitive way.
Freedom for ALL people....a gay marriage doesn't do any harm.
Thank You!
you're welcome Quoting: Anonymous Coward 543878
Very few Americans are this bigoted I have always been amazed how many true Christians support my own transition.
That said the biggest back stabbing I got was from a person was from the same organization as the author of the original post on this thread. I find it hard to ever trust anyone from that organization. The worst part of the betrayal was that I truly tried to help this person. After the betrayal he runs and hides from me but he will never be able to hide from his God ... see he knows what he did is wrong and he is having a hard time dealing with it. If we don't help each other who will

The evangelical may believe this is not a "right." On both sides we have a moral argument. Each side feels that their moral code is correct. It is a no win situation. There will always be people on both sides of this issue.
Ask 100 different people, or ask people in other countries, and the answer will depend on who and where you ask.
For the evangelical, the Bible is the manual for moral code. But you will find that evangelicals tend to vary greatly on their personal interpretations of that same Bible.
For those who do not use the Bible there are countless sources from which that individual may base their morality. But you will find that these people also tend to vary greatly on their personal interpretation of said sources.
In other words, this is a circular argument and I for one am not suprised at violence on either side of it. Both parties are associated with some who would condone violence on their respective side.
There are those who exist and are peaceful on both sides, but to claim one party is completely innocent is ridiculious and unrealistic. >> |
