The wise man/woman: Understands that just when they think they know it all realizes they know next to nothing really.

The hasty man/woman: Closes the mind off to all further learning and understanding and leans upon their own.


There are many layers to Scripture. Even if you spend every day until you die reading and studying Scripture, you still will not have full understanding. Best to leave the mind open to what the Spirit would say. After all, he is the only true interpreter.
