I remember when I first came here (2005). There were NO user numbers and for awhile I thought Anonymous Coward was a very strange, very fascinating person.

Just the opposite!!! Some of the best posts I’ve read, and hardest LOL have come from AC’s!
At first I didn’t realize that GLP gave that default user name, ....slow like that?????

I would imagine that all of us sat scratching our heads when we first visited this forum, not understanding that a poster who was not a paid member or did not take the time to change the 'AC' designation in the name box when posting, would become the awesome, be-everywhere 'anonymous coward'. I, even I was such at one time.
