The problem with this radiologically "transmuted" gold from lead is that it is radioactive gold which is unstable and emits ionizing radioactivity for hundreds of years, so if becomes in vogue one will have to bring a geiger counter with you to the coin store to make sure it isn't the deadly kind of "gold". This isn't a new discovery, they've had this capability for many decades and yet haven't been making the stuff because it's just too "hot" to handle.

Yup - I have a rule. As long as there is huge marketing to buy gold, I will stay away from it with a 10 foot pole. The gold bugs are out to get you. Take note, in a few months when gold is back down sub-650, there will be no marketing for it.
