The Chassadim (forces of Divine giving) of the 5 fingers of the hand can touch in the Yesod arousing with in it (our fingers can channel Divine energy, effecting astrologic influence).2
“Rekia” (firmament) are like “iggulim” (circular energy flow in nature), within them is “oar Yoshir” (supernatural influence changing nature).3 The planets are the first three sefirot of z’a (Source of the Emotional soul) while the constellations are the six corners (shape emotional composure of humans).4 The 12 Mazolot (constellations) go out of the six corners. From Chesed to Malchut (actualized will of God in the earth), and from Malchut up to Chesed. Teferet (Harmony balance) and Malchut are concieled. Astrology is nonsense. Take the birthdays of the employees of an engineering company for instance. They have the same aspirations yet the distribution by zodiacal sign is almost homogeneous. It is a proof that birthday date plays no role in a person's character. |

Interesting thread.
I don't think astrology defines the soul as much as astrologers think it does. I think it does influence the ego or personality to some degree and even affects physical characteristics. I have been able to guess peoples signs at times just by observing them. I have been right more times then wrong. So I know there's some validity to it. I feel no need to plan my life around the movement of the heavens though. I never believe what a horoscope tells. I only trust my intuition.
I understand why some religions have forbidden it. It's not that it is something false but it is how the people use the knowledge. Take relationships for instance. Compatible signs? See how it divides us yet? It's all ego play. |

methinks it is the Music of the Spheres that is responsible for this....
with each planet emitting it's own resonant note...and subsequent chord......creating different vibrational patterns that wash over the earth, depending on their orbital configuration....
as well as whatever astrological constellation is predominant at the time of ones birth.
that's why we are not only the similar to....but also feel in accord...a chord with those who share our same astrological sign. |
