RH negative people can stop positive people from bleeding. The Indians called our blood the blood of the Gods.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 547485AB- here. I wonder if this was the reason behind the 'blood brothers' ritual- the cutting of the palms and pressing them together- to detect this aspect in the blood. How then was this information applied/ utilised? Something to look into, perhaps.
