How Many People Here Have Rh Negative Blood?

I wonder if this was the reason behind the 'blood brothers' ritual- the cutting of the palms and pressing them together- to detect this aspect in the blood. How then was this information applied/ utilised?
Something to look into, perhaps.

CCR5 gene deletion


The relevance of this topic is that for years, this board has tried
to find a link to RH negative blood and resistance/immunity to the
AIDS virus. You can now test to see if you carry the gene deletion
which confers this 'benefit'. The lack of the genes does make you
more susceptible to West Nile Virus. Something for we O negs need to
be
aware of as so many of us are magnets for mosquitos!

I remember as a child trying to become blood sisters with friends it was impossible. I would stop them from bleeding.
Never found a friend that was Negative back then.

Where I live there 1/3 ratio of Negatives.
I have no idea why
Just in the condos where I live there's only a couple of people who aren't negative.
There's over 150 people here.
Heavy population but no one has B negative.
There's one girl in town that has my blood so far. I just keep asking and finding new ones each and everyday.

Thanks. I'm looking into the origins/ significance in native blood rituals right now- looks like it's going to take a bit of doing. I will post back when I find something of interest/ significance. I love getting to the origins of things like this- they so often arise from real purpose and become tradition or ritual later.

My eyes are open to the fact that you all are ego tripping. I am aware of the definition of Rh factor and I an aware that negatives means just that...you possess no Rh factor in your blood. I just don't think any of you are any more special than anyone else. I fit the bill for most of the "special" characteristics on your little laundry lists posted here, and my blood is positive. Maybe the +Rh factor grounds us and makes us less likely to be self-absorbed megalomaniacs.
