How to live over 100 years old...(AWSOME)
Jeanne Calment of France lived to be 122, is the oldest person ever to have lived with a fully authenticated birth record. She died in 1997. In her youth she was a friend of Van Goghs. Jeanne was always healthy, riding a bike until she was 100. She smoked until she was 110, when she said, “it was becoming a habit.” Until two years before her death she had a glass of port(Port Wine) and a piece of her favourite chocolate every day.

Elizabeth Israel, known as Ma Pampo on the Caribbean island of Dominica, is said to be 127. This should make her the oldest person alive today, however, there is no documentation to confirm her age. Ma Pampo gave up smoking in her 90s and was still working at 104. She attributes her long life to eating organically grown crops.

Sardinian Antonio Todde, died just before his 113th birthday in January 2002. On his 112th birthday, Todde spoke about the secret of a long life. “Just love your brother and drink a good glass of red wine every day,” he said. Before his death, Todde held the Guinness world record for Oldest Living Man. 112 year old Yukichi Chuganji from Japan, now holds this title.

Amy Hulmes is Britain's oldest woman until she died at the age of 114 in 2001. Born in the year of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, she put her longevity down to drinking four bottles of Guinness every night and taking cold baths.

The Okinawan Way

The inhabitants of Okinawa, Japan, have the longest life expectancy on the planet. Okinawan longevity is attributed in part to a healthy diet rich in vegetables and grains. But there’s more to it than that. Most lead active lives through into old age. Activities such as dancing, walking, gardening and gentle martial arts such as tai chi are all popular among the middle aged and elderly.

Well it appears as Adults we should drink 1 glass of Wine every day...As well eating organic foods!!
likely drinking a glass of wine every day slows the aging process!!

You could still do all that and die in some freak accident. Life is unpredictable. And who would want to live that long with all the problems we have on our planet? Unless you get to see peace by the end....then you have a case.

he key to living long is ..... Resveratrol. It is found in the Muscadine grape variety. That was the type of wine the old lady was drinking and it's cheap but not available everywhere. You can now get it(Resveratrol) in pill form.

Why would anyone want to live that long? Since I've been taking care of my boyfriends parents (one is 87, one turns 87 on monday) and I've watch dementia take their minds away I know I don't want to live that long.

Many people over 80 don't live well. Over 85 their lives can be much worse.

One of my kids is into this. CRON is Caloric Restriction with Optimal Nutrition. He is rail thin and vegan, raw only.

A real pain in the ass at family gatherings, too, I might add.

But once you are really old like my mom who is 90 you can get away with just about anything. Who's gonna stop you? Or be rude to somebody that old?

There are whole support groups and websites and forums devoted to this CRON practice and lots of people are doing it. Will be interesting to see if it does truly work.

A more healthy diet surely can't hurt any of us and most would benefit also from reduction in caloric intake. Personally, I avoid extremes of any kind and believe moderation in all things the best way to go but must admit that the son who does this is never sick despite his rather suspect appearance. Other two kids with normal diets are ill much more often.

Studies have been conducted on primates and dogs with greater longevity but guess I am too old to appreciate the concept as I would probably rather enjoy fewer years more.
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy

The truth is the life expectancy of a people of today is about 60, and that number will get lower as time goes on. There will be a day in about 30 years where people will live to 45 or 50.

One main difference with the Okinawan lifestle is that their water is filtered through the Coral Calcium sand, which lowers the ph level of their system to above 7.5! All the other islands are volcanic, and water ph is lower(more acidic).

Less acidic system means cells are stronger and less can invade the immune system.

At an 8.0 ph(alkaline) new cancers cannot form, as well as a host of other diseases. hf

SangoCaps

SangoCaps contain pure, finely ground coral calcium powder fortified with vitamin D3, vitamins E and C as well as Chromium Polynicotinate. These capsules are encased in 100% pure, organic vegetable capsules and contain over 70 critical minerals. Everyone knows that calcium is of major importance to health. It is crucial to your body for building stronger bones, muscle and nerve functions. Calcium is only absorbed by the body in its ionic state. The calcium in regular supplements is not ionic, and the body must break the calcium down by digestion.

Alkaline Minerals

Neutralize Excess Acids

The greatest problem for people suffering from acidification is the fact that the concentrated mass of acids have accumulated in the deep inner tissues. The quantities of acids that have built up are too great to be carried by the blood (which must maintain a very narrow pH range), to the skin and kidneys for elimination. The body is then forced to use a second option to protect the integrity of the blood pH. This consists of directing the acids not to the organs of elimination to be discharged, but into the tissues, which can withstand fluctuations of pH levels better than the blood.

Deacidification of the body requires the neutralization and elimination of a very large quantity of acids. When available, the body will use mineral reserves in order to neutralize these acids. When alkaline minerals bind with acids, a neutral salt is made, which can then enter the bloodstream for elimination without affecting the pH of the blood. Taking these alkaline minerals on a regular basis supports the body's efforts and greatly accelerates the process of deacidification and restoration to pH balance. SangoCaps is an alkalizing mineral supplement that quickly goes to work to neutralize damaging acids.

SangoCaps is a mineral rich supplement designed to accelerate the neutralization of acids that are often deeply embedded in the tissues of the body. To neutralize each acid that you want removed from the body, you need a corresponding alkaline substance...an alkaline mineral. The five primary alkaline minerals are calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese and iron (manganese and iron are trace minerals, and are present in SangoCaps in trace amounts). Acidification is synonymous with mineral deficiency.

SangoCaps Contains:

Calcium

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body, and about 99% of the body's calcium is found in our bones. Besides being an alkalizing element in the body, it helps build and maintain healthy bones and teeth. Calcium is also important in many enzymatic reactions in the body, is necessary for the contraction of muscles, the release of neurotransmitters, regulation of heart beat, and the clotting of blood. Calcium deficiency may ultimately lead to acidification as well as osteoporosis, which thins and weakens bones making them frail to the point where they break easily.

Magnesium

Magnesium is well known for its calming effect on our nervous system as well as its stimulating effect on the immune system. It is vital in assisting in calcium and potassium uptake. A deficiency interferes with the transmission of nerve and muscle impulses, causing irritability and nervousness. Magnesium is also a

crucial element in maintaining proper pH balance.

Manganese

Manganese acts as a catalyst in numerous biochemical reactions. Manganese is an antioxidant nutrient that is important in the breakdown of amino acids and the production of energy. It is also a catalyst in the breakdown of fats and cholesterol. It helps nourish the nerves and brain, is necessary for normal skeletal development and helps to maintain proper hormone production and to regulate blood sugar levels.

Chromium

Chromium in its biologically active form, known as Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF), a niacin bound compound that is necessary for proper carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. This biologically active chromium is not readily available from the foods we eat, and research by the USDA has shown that 90% of all Americans are deficient in this vital nutrient.

Symptoms of chromium deficiency include elevated blood sugar levels, elevated blood lipids (cholesterol and triglycerides), hypertension, hyper insulemia, sugar cravings and obesity.

The human body can produce insulin, but the co-factor GTF, necessary for proper insulin function, must be provided to the body on a daily basis. Improper insulin function because of the lack of GTF contributes to a plethora of health problems.
