We can buy packets of Paracetamol over the counter in the UK, that contain small amounts of cocaine. But I doubt anyone gets addicted to them because they will give you a real bad headache if you take to many. But they are quite good for general pain relief and toothache.

But in the US you can only get similar medicine with a doctors script. I think that things are way too much over regulated.

Iboga has a central role in the West Central African Bwiti religion which is one of the three official religions in Gabon today. It has been involved in many Bwiti ceremonies, festivals and rites for hundreds of years.(4) Out of these rites and ceremonies, the initiation ceremony is considered one of the most important and usually involves the ingestion of high doses of Iboga by the new initiate. In the United States, recently Howard Lotsof of New York began patenting Ibogaine, the plant`s most active chemical, for drug addiction treatment in 1985. He also campaigned for FDA approval for this use between 1982 and 1994. Despite poor financial support, experimental treatment for addiction and further research on Ibogaine are still being carried out today.(2)

kratom is the best legal plant with opiate-like properties. properly prepared it is not a big deal to ingest either. i've done a whole lot of this. check out [link to thekratomking.com]

crushed/powdered leaf or the 15x extract is the way to go. make a tea with the extract. you can make a tea with the 15x too, but i just weigh some out and down the hatch it goes. followed by a beverage.

kratom is very nice and is used by many opiate users to help with cravings. me, i just use it to get high. it's great stuff.

this stuff is floating around eastern Africa regions, but can be found in Somali communities in the US.

khat and its active cathinone are stimulants. nothing like an opiate. cathinone is schedule 1 in the us, and, though khat itself is not technically illegal, us law enforcement does prosecute for khat possession based on the fact that it contains a schedule 1 drug, and authorities do not want an easy to get/grow amphetamine-like plant to be readily available.

diphenhydramine/dimenhydrinate is a terrible recreational drug. at doses just over therapeutic you will get some bad body load and a nasty taste in your mouth. at higher doses it is a deliriant similar to tropane alkaloids like those found in jimson weed. at these high doses you will be completely delusional seeing and hearing things that are not there, but believing they are. this is very dangerous. also, at high doses, the body load becomes intolerable and will last for at least 24 hours, many hours after the hallucinations wear off. terrible stuff use by teens without access to other drugs and have yet to discover dextromethorphan.

Go for Salvia - smoke it in a gravity bong (you can make one yourself, with a water bottle or soda bottle) or buy one from your local head shop which SHOULD also sell Salvia. It's sold as "incense" in some places.

The trick with Salvia is to take a big rip, then hold it in for as long as you can. 10 to 15 seconds will give you a nice effect. Make sure you have a sitter unless you've done it before; everybody has a different trip, some are good and some are bad.

The experience lasts for about 5-20 minutes, depending on the potency of your extract and your body type - but it's definitely worth at least trying it once.

SWIM told me that Kratom works very well, but most folks don't know how to take it and end up puking it all up.

SWIM said the best thing to do is mix the Kratom powder with Orange Juice. This does two things: (1) balances out the alkaloids so the ph levels in your stomach don't make you barf and (2) forces the alkaloids out, giving you a bigger high.

If you still feel sick, take some dramamine.

Basically, if you've taken Kratom and you barf, you've overdosed. It is almost impossible to OD on Kratom because you will barf - like drinking. Mixing the powder with OJ is an excellent idea, but I found a pharmaceutical grade Kratom that is excellent - Kratom O.P.M. (organic pleasure management). It comes in a 3-capsule pack and you can start by taking just 1 capsule if that doesn't do it for you, you can take the 2nd or 3rd capsule. Just to add to the Benadryl tips, a non scheduled drug that is called a anti histamine like Benadryl is promethazine and it I'd used for nausea and our for anxiety in hospitals. The thing is that e even though is not scheduled it had such a close body reaction to pot and to narcotic anxiety medications that drug test can't tell the difference and the effects are very narcotic. M much stronger than Benadryl with no bad side emotions. They double the strength of your opiates and make them last three times longer at least. To get a prescription claim it helped you in the paSt with ongoing nausea from headaches.

We can't get codeine in the US without a prescription unfortunately. I found that muscle relaxers such as Flexeril helped with that edgy feeling by relaxing my whole body. But again, not natural. You're never gonna find anything close to the real thing unfortunately.

Pineapple sage plant. It is very legal. Has great taste when you cook with it and when you dehydrate it and smoke it, it gives about a 10-20 minute high that is very pleasant and mellow. I love it. I think it is in the salvia family as well. Some people also steep it as a tea.

Salvia Divinorium is the best imho.

Kratom is a mild hallucinogen that is not like an opiate high but is the active ingredient in Heantos, a Vietnamese drug touted some years back as cure for opiate addiction. I flew to Viet Nam for this detox. I was on a high dose of methadone/benzos and darvon N. My methadone dose was 160 mgs. It knocked me out for aprox 60 hours after taking a series of reduced dosage of a mixed Kratom/herbal blend. It knocks one out for 6 hours and then after teh detox period for Heatos I is over they start Heatos II, which made me very jumpy. Since I did not feel any gross withdrawal symptoms (diahrea/vomiting/ or cramps) I found it interesting but I had they methadone fatigue/wekness and kept getting weaker and they deemed my detox a failure.

The most commonly known herbs are kratom and blue lotus flowers (the stamens being the most potent part, for FYI). However, one that almost never mentioned is Lactuca Virosa, commonly known as "wild lettuce" or "opium lettuce." First off, it is not, in fact, an opiate. It does not react in the same way chemically as an opiate. The actual cause of the high is somewhat a mystery. But luckily has it never been shown to be addictive. This herb was used throughout history, beginning with the Ancient Egyptians. My personal experience has been positive and I can definitely say that the "high" is real, not bogus. I would recommend getting resin.
