I'll say it again.
The problem with the world economy is
Low stagnant wages
Banks gambling customer savings on the stock market
Poor education
Big business monopolizing and destroying small businesses
Welfare instead of workfare
Lack of apprenticeships and job placement after school
Not recognizing that better office efficiency, computers and robotics means there will only be face to face retail, medical care and construction jobs. There will be no manufacturing jobs because FUNAC assembly robots are cheep, fast, working 24/7 and don't commit suicide.
Time to rethink the future of jobs.
But I know we won't and that is why the world fails.

A construction worker cannot use a rubber band to measure the length of a beam; he must use a steel tape. An accountant cannot use a rubber dollar to measure the worth of an enterprise; he must use gold.

The erosion of faith in paper money is a one-way process (with some zigs and zags).

But eventually, backwardation will become deeper and deeper (while the dollar price of gold is rising, probably exponentially).

The final step is when gold completely withdraws its bid on paper.

At that point, paper's bid on gold will be unlimited, and this is

why paper will inevitably collapse without gold.

It's not like the economic collapse will occur in one day; it is ongoing event.

There are more and more WE BUY GOLD shops setting up every day.

There will always be a market for gold until the grocery store shelves empty.

At that point, it is every man for himself.

So Op how long have we got, I've been hearing stuff like this for 5 years now and to be honest my life remains unaffected.

No one is rioting, people still eating in restaurants, going to the cinema, buying new cars etc

I do not see any significant changes around me, just people saying its going to happen.

What is going to happen and when?

Please put it in short simple terms if you have the answer.

thanks.

Cost of living has gone up at least 30% in the last 5 years. Sheep still buy what the TV tells them even if at a higher cost. We work harder for less and drink it away on the weekend. Everybody knows but it's such a slow collapse we are being boiled like a frog

Good stuff OP.

I recently bought my first small bar of gold - damn that stuff is expensive but better get rid of useless bits of paper in return for physical.

I just hope the house of cards doesn't collapse before I'm able to store a bit more of my wealth in physical.

The economic problem is this:

The entire world is now under control of a synchronized K-wave winter leg phase.

This means that every country on earth is going into a Depression.

There will be no exceptions, ... not even the Swiss.

Because each countries K-wave is synch-locked to every other countries K-wave in a form of a "super resonance",

there is no safe harbor or safe haven to flee too;
in an effort to avoid the final outcome.

This is the legacy of a world wide global trade system

that does not have local backup in whatever is traded in.

I want you to think about something for a minute.

2,000 years ago if a Roman man wanted the latest toga he would go to a high end clothing store and hand in 5 grams of gold - or something of equivalent value.

Today, we can go to a store and with 5 grams of gold worth of money we can buy a nice new suit.

This article has one graph that shows you what a K-wave looks like.

[link to www.gold-eagle.com]

The author comments that: "Today these K waves are more global than local and increasingly more political than economic."

As I said at the beginning of this thread almost 5 years

ago, K-waves from various countries become synchronized,

and the final synchro-locked K-wave will eventually

rockon
lead to a global depression.

This is a SIGN of the acceleration of the K-wave.

Some unknown trader just bet 1 billion dollars of real hard cash that the U.S. is going to default.

The trade was for block trades of 5,370 10-year Treasury futures executed at 124-03 and
3,100 Treasury bond futures executed at 125-01

Yields are going up sooner rather than later, if the person behind this Armageddon trade is correct

rockon
and so it begins ...
 Quoting: Kingman-Art

I looked at the article and it seems to be a good bet. We are trillions of dollars in debt and congress is not to able to reduce spending by one cent.
Also the all the obligations that will need to be paid at a later date will create much more debt.
Stimulas will not work, it would be one thing if we didn't have the huge amount of debt we have, but stimulus is never a permanent solution.

At some point the money system is going to break. I don't know when, but I know the way the government is spending money, is just not sustainable for the economy.

The bad thing for me is I have not prepared properly for an economic collapse. :(

146 "players" (primarily banks) control 40 % of Transnational Corporations.

700 "players" control 80%.

And all these players understand that they must bend to the will of the premier International Bankers.

Are you a tard or what? Of course gold will be useless, they made it that way. Gold is only useful to liquidate debt when it is in circulation.

Gold can appreciate to any value in order to pay off any debt. Paper currencies cannot as they require more debt to pay off existing debt, and you need more debt in addition to pay off the interest.

Yes, gold will become worthless in permanent backwardaion that is the entire problem moran.

Let me rephrase that, gold can be used in barter when the economy does collapse. But in terms of modern trade, bills of credits, sovereign debt it's utility will be worthless. That means the collapse of the entire bills of credit system.

But if you have some gold or silver you can always barter with it, people have used PMs to store their wealth for thousands of years.

You will only get the EBT card-refilled if you follow the rules.

So what? You think every plan dreamed up is executed according to plan? This whole world, global trade has momentum when it goes under that momentum will turn parabolic to the downside.

I would bet you a million quatloos that they feed that garbage to their inferiors to keep them in line. Give them some hope that what they have following blindly will not in the end completely destroy them and their families.

This is more like the collapse of the Roman Empire. When the bills of credit system comes apart they (PTB) won't even be able to pay their thugs to come and confiscate gold or put you on the FEMA cars. It is the end of civilization as we know it.

The elite realize this I am sure. The real insiders probably have bunkers you cannot imagine, they will bug out for decades while the rest of humanity turns into cannibals then they will emerge. All their minions will be dead by then.

TPTB own/control the big transnational Corporations, including the Archer/Daniels/Cargill/Tyson/Monsanto food producers, and the energy producers. They loan money to the national Governments and thereby control Governments. State employees will be getting paid by Federal EBTs when the State economies collapse. TPTB have a plan, and their life-style and power will only increase. The rest of us must decrease.
