Religion is the opiate of the masses and I have always thought so since the age of 12


just because you dont believe in religion doesnt make you less of anything.


So fuck organized religion...glean the pearls and cast the rest aside and answer to no one but yourself.


Worship yourself in the sense that you see yourself in everyone.

People are compelled to believe in something bigger than themselves - something ineffable that encompasses the totality of that which they don't know - and once they settle on their beliefs of the ineffable, they put them on a stick, bandy them about, and are not unwilling to beat each other over the head with them in order to decide who is more right.

well, ya gotta have perspective about these things

I have an idea.


It may sound silly.



But instead of arguing over and beating each other up over whose ineffable is more effable, (which is pretty silly if you think about it for 15 seconds) why not agree on the one constituent that all creation represents and that we can see, feel and know from within and without?




That's right, boys and girls.



I'm talking about LIFE.



Everything that exists represents life - intelligent functioning bound by form - whether it's wave, particles, molecules or skyscrapers.



Life is all there is.


Life is all that is.


Become a believer in life.


In its omnipresence.


In its inexorable, inviolable ability to exist.



It its ability to mirror the ineffable in that it maps to all that can ever exist.



Including all your fanciful constructions, such as God.



If you want to believe in God, then first and foremost, believe in life.


It is what we are and in the beginning and in the end, our connection to all that is.


It IS all that is.
