They avoid boats. It is the 60 miles of baited long line per boat, purposely seeking shark fin, that is damaging.

Sharks keep plankton feeders in check.

Plankton makes 70% of the earths oxygen.

No sharks = No breathable atmosphere.

Remember this when you next have trouble breathing!

True to a degree...but missing a few important points...plankton aren't like farm plants. You can scoop up 90% of them, and hours later, you'll have the same levels as before. You're never going to scoop up 90% of them, unless you somehow overload the ocean with filter feeders.

If anything, the real threat is wiping out the large filter feeders and having an abundance of plankton that chokes out other life.

Plankton exist in raindrops...they're not going away anytime soon.

an hour, i really really don't see how that's possible.

I wish humans would die at 10000 an hour, might fix the world up then.

Bull SHit I say! Hell OP they (people like the ones that made this movie) Said the same BS years ago. Its always the same thing. We are all going to die, No more fish in the oceans in 10 years or Ice age coming or global warming coming. Well that was like 20 some years ago. Look at the movie there that they just made. Fish all over.
Its just another bunch of wack jobs wanting to scare you into not using oil and wanting your money or someone else believing in other wack jobs.
Believe it if you want, in 20 years you will see the same kind of movies saying the same things that don't happen.

Wait, you buy the biggest lie of the last two centuries?

You really think, with AIDS wiping out much of Africa, wars, and all the other things happening...there are still 7 billion people wandering around?

TPTB want 500 million people. It's already happening. The numbers aren't there yet, but the culling is happening as we speak. Look at Detroit...900,000 people, 5 million in the SE MI region...but Detroit's a ghost town beyond downtown, and much of the SE Michigan area has been bought up as "protected" area.

Just because you "feel" more crowded doesn't mean the earth is more populated. We're just living in a more compressed area. A bunch of people in narrow bands around cities, designated suburban areas, and corporates, govts and others buying up the rural areas for various reasons.

You're being mind-f*cked as we speak...the MSM could tell you there are 15 billion people here, and you'd buy it even as you wandered through ghost towns around the world.

It's that evil chemical Dihydrogenmonoxitde! That stuff is used by the big pharmacy companies, it's used by pesticide manufacturers, and some cities even use it in their reservoir supplies.

I'd have to check, but I think swimming at the local nuke power plant is free for early birds.

So let's see...

10K an hour
240K a day
87.6 million a year
8.7 billion a decade

Exactly how many sharks are there in the oceans anyway? 500 billion?
