Just got back from Walmart (Ammo related)
We have 3 places to buy guns/ammo in town, the 2 private owned places are pretty much out of ammo so I went to Walmart.

Walmart had very little ammo left also, they had NO rounds for .223, 7mm, .243, 30-06, .308, 9mm, they had some shotgun shells and 1 box of .44 Mag. They were also out of almost all reloading supplies.

Talking to the sales guy he said his distributors told him they are out and have no idea when they'll have more ready to ship.

The sales guy said rummor has it the Govt. wants EVERY bullet/shell to have a bar code on it so it can be traced to the original buyer!!

i find it funny as hell that russia is making ammo like crazy and sending it here for us american civilians, whether they actually give a shit about us or just profits is undecided, but none the less, they give us far more of an opportunity to defend our rights that our own government
