I heard about the american cases months and months ago all the horrible auto immune diseases and the lack of clinical trials of the vaccine and the fact it only protects against ONE strain of the virus. They think they are getting somthing special, they will wait obidently in line to get this jab to their 11 yr old daughters.

You're the fool. It only takes a 30% success rate to push a drug onto the market, and in certain cases, companies can get waivers for less (like an "epidemic").

This vaccine was barely in trials when they started pushing for these mandatory school injections. The drug was hesitantly approved, too. It wasn't an unanimous approval, but they said in limited (for high-risk women) use, it was better to have the drug available than to shelve it.

The moment it was approved, these mandatory injection laws started going to a vote. The public slowly realized what was going on, but by the time any large outcry was raised, the laws were on the books, and lawmakers and the manufacturer just decided to ignore the objections raised.

Now you have a girl that gets sick immediately following the injection and is paralyzed, 30 dead, hundreds of girls got sick, we have no idea what the long-term effects of the vaccine are (and by long-term, I mean we don't know what's going to happen to them 5 years from now, much less when they're at the age where the cancer might be a threat), politicians are in hiding, and the manufacturer went into immediate denial mode.

That last bit, the way the manufacturer is reacting to these events is a bad omen. They should at least care, and be working to figure out why it happened, not fleeing the scene. That's why they lose big money in these lawsuits, instead of demonstrating good faith, they invariably pretend like they couldn't possibly err, and generally make the victim's life far more miserable.

A decent (and smart) company would want to do tests to see why, and when they find the problem, want to fix it, or limit it's use until another test was done. Then at least some care to the people that suffer. Instead, they wait till numerous people's lives are screwed up, then they whine because they get handed their asses by a jury.

Sadly, in most of those judgements, it often comes up that the manufacturer suppressed information that could have prevented the lawsuits, but greed won out over people's lives.

There's a huge difference. When they were creating polio, smallpox, and other vaccines, there was little money involved, and they did a lot of testing. When they did "rush" a drug, it still took far longer than today to get it to the market, and had been vetted by much of the medical research community.

Today, everything's a secret and egos and money have replaced the scientific process. Not to mention, they were fighting diseases that you got and immediately suffered or died from, not something that might make you sick 40 years from now. Those diseases affected huge swaths of people, too. HPV is a concern, but it's nowhere near comparable to what you're talking about.
