He even placed him self as heir to the throne of God and said no one can come to God unless you go through him first.

Yup, close enough. Techically speaking Jesus = Lucifer, as "Satan" is actually a conglomerate name for the mortal descendents of Lucifer.

Just before he was arrested he told the Father that he had saved all but one. I don't know if that one was himself, but I think it's possible

But, perhaps he did not become Satan until he became Jesus - Buddha and etc. - the opposer of Yahweh. You must know what he said about an eye for eye and tooth for tooth unlike Yahweh, and much more.
