I have founded a group WeThePeopleUSA which consists of approximately 500 concerned citizens from across our great County that are concerned about a very important issue.
I'm sure you are aware that there have been a slew of lawsuits filed in state courts and others that have come before the Supreme Court that have attempted to ascertain whether President Elect Obama meets the "natual born" citizen clause of the United States Constitution. Unfortunately, it appears that an average "citizen" does not have "standing" to challenge a presidential candidates' eligibility until after Congress certifies the Electoral College vote.
To date, Mr. Obama has hired three law firms and has spent upward of 1 Million dollars to fight any challenges that requested that he make his "vault copy" or typewritten long form birth certificate available for inspection. Although Mr. Obama has purportedly shown a Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) on his FightTheSmears web site, serious doubts have been raised by document examiners regarding the authenticity of the COLB. Additionally, it must be noted that the COLB or "short form" is a computer generated Certification of Live Birth which is a "secondary" document and is not an "original document."
As you know, only the "original source" or "long form typewritten vault copy" would be considered the "best evidence" because it would list other information not present on the COLB, such Country of birth, hospital, doctor, father, birth weight, witnesses, etc.
It is important that you understand that in the year Mr. Obama's birth was registered in Hawaii, Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allowed registration of births for children that were born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the child's birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence. This meant that all children born outside of Hawaii would be entitled to receive a Hawaiian COLB, just like the one Mr. Obama has posted.
Although there have been numerous requests for Sen. Obama’s official long form vault copy birth certificate, the Department of Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino has stated that "State law (Hawaii Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record."
This seems odd given the fact that Mr. Obama is a public figure running for the highest office in the United states, possibly, the world. In fact, Mr. Obama could have avoided this whole controversy and millions of dollars in legal feels if he just went to Hawaii and spent $10 to obtain a copy of his original typewritten, long form vault copy birth certificate. Surely, this would have put this controversy that has been circulating for months to rest. However, due to Mr. Obama's legal maneuverings regarding a document that almost everyone at some point in their life has to furnish, a lingering doubt regarding Mr. Obama's eligibity to be POTUS continues to exist for a great majority of the American people.
Unfortunately, even the statement made by DOH Director Fukino, in which she says,"I have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures," is extremely ambiguous, as Mr. Obama's "birth certificate on record" is not adequately defined in Ms. Fukino's statement. What "birth certificate on record" did Ms. Fukino see? Was it a foreign birth certificate, a Hawaiian birth certificate, or some other document that was used to issue the "secondary" document or COLB that Mr. Obama is showing on the Internet?
These are the questions that the American people want answers to which is why more and more citizens are using the court system to file lawsuits demanding answers. In fact, a recent letter writing campaign sponsored by WorldNetDaily (www.wnd.com) sent over 60,000 letters to the Supreme Court asking the justices to finally decide the issue of President Elect Obama's eligibility to be POTUS and to stay the electoral college vote until Mr. Obama's eligiblity was determined. Unfortunatley, the SCOTUS failed to issue a stay in the matter of the electoral vote.
This decision prompted another letter writing campaign which was directed to all 538 electors. Tens of thousands of concerned citizens wrote to the electors to ask them to verify Mr. Obama's eligibility before they cast their vote on December 15th. Unfortunately the electors, many not wanting to violate their party's pledge, ignored pleas from concerned citizens and ignored their sworn duty to verify that they were voting for an eligible candidate.
