God doesn't think or act as men do, so you can't understand Him through the thinking of men. Satan knows this, so he muddies the water with confusion to keep men from understanding God. This was taken from The Message New Testament, which is easier to understand. The point is that intuition mustn't be trusted, it is not God Given and we can be deceived.
