Anonymous Coward User ID: 61416821 United States 09/29/2014 07:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My paintings are usually some sort of camouflage of a larger picture, hard to describe. My current painting is camo made out of the shape of a guitar pic, so it's thousands of guitar pics, but hidden within the pattern, other images. That is more what I like to do, the camo stuff. I like to design my own camo. I use oil as a medium. THanks for asking. You should share some images of your artwork (if you're comfortable doing so)... I love camo designs.... Here are a few some the pic one with details. The first one is the one I am currently working on. Now that the weather is cooling down I can resume and finish it soon, I hope. The other one with the Elk is called A Dare View, it usually has a pair of antlers mounted hanging above it. Thanks TML, the Dare View - the camo pattern is made up of the footprints of the animal, I also did digital black and white camo in the darkroom, before digital photography was it....using old fashioned cameras, film, stencils. Now we have digital cameras and photoshop....I learned a lot of classic methods that are sort of obsolete, including book binding. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 61416821 United States 09/29/2014 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No, unfortunately not, just 4 x 5 negatives...one day I will get some pics developed of them. I had two, and they disappeared when I was on vacation one day. Was very sad. I took pics of them with the 4 x 5 camera, the kind with the bellows that they use in those old fashioned photo shoots...so the negs are really large, thus the photos will be detailed. |

That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably. John Michael Greer |
