Maybe this has been covered already. I haven't read the thread.
Isn't there an off-chance that data-base mining for face-recognition software developers could take place here?
Or would the mods be able to catch that sort of thing?

Who is to say it is not being done on those sites, as well? For that matter, driver's license photos are in a data-base already. How hard would it be to get those? You are correct.
