Dr. Tichenor's Antiseptic Mouthwash. A little dab will do the trick. Plus the Hurricane spray to kill the burn.

Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) instead of vicodin, percoset internally and a bit of clove oil or eugenol on a q tip externally. hf

Both are easy to obtain. Kratom on the internet, and clove oil at the pharmacy.

whiskey or cognac works well to if you can stand the burn

Whiskey worked for me once...just lay his head in the correct position for it to soak in it.

800mg Ibuprophrin (sp). Got the same tooth ache. My dentist knows I cant afford to have it fixed right now and called it in to my pharmacy. I feel his pain though.

That amount of ibuprofen can't be good for your liver!

Re: Pain releif for toothache?
If it is an exposed nerve (it will hurt worse with hot, cold air), you can use some softened candle wax and mold it around the tooth. It will protect the tooth from outside aggravations and stop the pain.

This works great with an open cavity.
Should try to kill the bacteria too, before doing this.
pack the cavity with baking soda and it will help deminished the pain also.

If the bac has gotten to the root and begone to abcess...there is nothing short of antibioctics that will work though.

First hand experience :
If he has any facial swelling AT ALL get him to a doctor / ER ASAP ! Abcessed teeth can be fatal !
Believe it or not, stimulating the site with a tooth brush can bring some relief.
Rinse the mouth with full strength Hydrogen Peroxide (3%)
make sure you don't swallow it (it won't kill you but makes for some uncomfortable stomach issues) Swish around for 1-2 min.
Alternate pain killers (acetomeophen and asprin), taking straight Tylenol or generic same is not good for your liver long term.
A home remedy my grannie taught me how to make is 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and add enough vinegar to make a loose paste (kinda like pancake batter), use a toothpick and apply liberally around the tooth and on the gum.
Tooth pain can make it difficult to eat so soup usually the best. Good luck OP !

Hydrogen Peroxide. Straight. Swish when it hurts. Works like a charm.

Always forget about Kratom....A damn good pain reliever, plus it works great for opiate WDs.

Clove oil directly on the tooth. Orajel or Anbesol will work to a certain extent. Or call around and find some hydros.
