We are in the 21st Century in the old paradigm of 20th century U$ hegemony. Imploding the US economy to force a 'one world currency' is not attainable without all countries, and Russia, Iran, Venezuela, China and others want no part of financing US debt. |

Not true, if America's dollar crashes then America's trading partners will lose money. But they won't lose anywhere near the amount that they'll lose if they keep financing America's lust for stuff. What if the world decided to decouple from the American dollar and form their own? That seems to be the likely scenario. I suppose America could repudiate their debt and revalue their dollar, but; if they did that at a price the world wasn't happy with, you'd see no one willing to trade with America, forcing a revaluation of their dollar to a more favourable price. Holy cow! It's the woowoo patrol! |
