Are you willfully lying or just ignorant of the facts?
I have no particular interest in the situation, actually. I'm not a big fan of people only latching onto a portion of the facts and ignoring everything else. I feel for some of the Palestinians, and for some of the Israelis.
I don't like many of the hardcore, psychotic zionists, nor their palestinian/arab counterparts. If I had my way, we'd round up all the warmongers and toss them into the saltwater extraction systems on Israel's shoreline, and get somethign useful out of them.
The people I feel the most sympathy for, however, are those folks in areas outside the major cities and battlegrounds, who are arab, palestinian, and israeli, who are trying to live together peacefully, and each year outside forces stress and strain their relationships.
And of course, the sick part of the whole mess is that they all believe in the samn freakin' god...
Then you shouldn't be too supportive of SHR piece. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 580732
I'm not, but that doesn't mean I'm 180 degrees against it. It's correct, just missing nuances. Kind of like agreeing that we should protect children, but being against laws that use "protect the children" to oppress the rights of adults. ~

Its high time this is taken to an independent international court of law.
Its high time UN troops are put on the ground in Israel to stop this bloodshed.
No country or people should be above the law.
Only if the law is a just law in the eyes of the individuals subject to it.
Any other law, especially those commanding and demanding consignments of labor or production are unjust and must be opposed.
You can't compel by force. Anything that is compelled immediately loses its virtuous nature.
What are you talking about. Babbling nonsense.
International Law was approved by nations and is applied to countries. If you do not recognize it then you do not form part of the international community and international and diplomatic relations should cease independent of sanctions and other legal measures the interantional bodies should adopt against any nation that causes international turmoil by breach of international law creating a dangerous precedent that could cause future international unrest and poses a risk to international peace and stability.
May I just suggest politely that I really don't give a flying fuck about international anything? Would it be possible for you to consider the fact that I am an individual committed to living a local, happy life without the machinations of evil, unsustainable growth engines interferring with my path? Can you handle such a concept?
I am not trying to be rude, but you seem to have the opinion that your view of society is the only viable path. And you are wrong in that assumption.
Your happy because you are not in a situation or zone of conflict. If you were huddled in a basement without food or power praying a bomb doesnt land on your house I can assure you you would give a flying fuck that international law was applied to try and protect you and your family by being butchered through no fault of yours.

Its really past the time of small talk and chit chat. people are being killed. Civilians that just happened to be born at the wrong time in the wrong place. It could be you there huddled in fear.
Law is to protect those that need protection from brutal unjust force, no matter the origin or country or the reason. Otherwise the world becomes a jungle where the ones with power that can get away with anything do and will. |

c. To deprive civilians of medicine, To deprive civilians access to hospitals, food, power etc..
d. Ut is prohibited to restrict civilian movement
e. It is prohibited for international aide to be impeded from reaching civilian population in distress and or injured civilian population
Is it clear? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 580773

In a perfect world this would work. Unfortunately the cowardly Hezzies and HamAss consider themselves CIVILIANS. They take cover within civilian populations to attack and then disperse within them. The problem is that the civilian population allows this to go on and then screeches when a general attack incorporates them to get at the true terrorists. Unfuckin Believable. The true civilian population could rid themselves of these elements they know who they are but they choose not to for whatever reason. |

It is a simple question that I ask: Why? I can't get an answer, cause the answer is dangerous when spoken in truth.
You seem to indicate that "caring" about others should be enough for me. You lie sir. I do care. But I am not allowed to care and to take action of my own volition, because my care and my help is taken from me against a threat of prison if I don't "pay my fair share". I would give freely and aid those in need of my own volition and my own virtue were it not robbed from me without consent.
This carefully constructed world model is coming down. War is on the horizon. Millions will die.

It's like a kiddie book or some shit.

There is no thing endowed with life - from man, who is enslaving the elements, to the nimblest creature - in all this world that does not sway in its turn. Whenever action is born from force, though it be infinitesimal, the cosmic balance is upset and the universal motion results. |

Welp, since there is a confrontation going on, I thought it would be time to post this as it's own thread.
Here ya go...Historicaly accurate and simple terminology.
Yeah it dogs the Arabs at the end...but IMO they deserve some dogging, so flame on. Write a counter to it...if you can...;)
Right around this time Arab Nationalism is growing strong, they start to launch attacks on the Jews in the 25% country. Some pretty bad ones like the Hebron massacres of 1929 and later during the 1936-39 Arab Revolt.
---------------
Do you suppose the Jews created the Great Depression because of the Hebron massacres?
Also, I wonder if the Jews caused World War 2 in response to the Arab Revolt. It would explain why Hitler wasn't fond of Jews.

NOW, THAT'S WHAT I CONSIDER STUPID POST.
Q: WHAT KIND OF BOOKS ARE YOU READING?

Again, here is the problem. Israel is not attacking missile launchers. It is attacking the civil infrastructure of a government elected by the Palestinian people. The selection of targets is what gives away that the real agenda is to wreck Gaza rather than to stop the Qassams.
If Israel really wanted the Qassams to stop, they would give the Gazan police the equipment and supplies to hunt down the people shooting the rockets. Instead the Israelis are doing everything they can to make sure the Gazan police are unable to do anything at all. One has to wonder why that is?
maybe because gazan police= hamas? you moron. get educated, hamas took control of all govt. facilities since 2007.
WRONG. Don't be daft, mental midget.
Here is an example even the most sychophantic of Isreali shills/apologists can understand:
Okay, here is the total giveaway that this is all a deadly hoax.
If Israel really was worried about the Qassam, why would they destroy the only civil force working to stop those attacks?
That's like Russia saying it wants to stop terrorism happening in the US and then attacks our army and police force. It should be obvious that the real agenda is to crush the government, and terror is just the excuse.
And now it's back to you- MORON. Quoting: illegalsmile 446109
hamas = a terrorist organisation. so it shouldn't surprise you it also took control the police by violence and terror on Spring-Summer 2007. |

Quoting: ANNONYMOUS 546346
Well, then, let's look at it from another perspective...
The gangsters in Los Angeles have taken over and are causing much death and destruction. We'll call in the Air Force and have them blow the hell out of the Valley. That will take care of the problem. We can go in and help the Air Force by sniping the gangsters from rooftops. Collateral damage might result, but those people should have rid themselves of the gang problems in the first place. Too bad for them. |
