In Escape from New York. Snake Plishkin is sent back into
the locked down city to find the president of the usa.

In a scene reminiscent of all that we now know about 911,
why back then did the script writers have the jet plane crash into
the WTC....film made in 1981 !!

I will point out that a couple of this year's movies had a similar theme (ok, IDENTICAL) involving the US President and a terrorist attack. Can anyone guess what movies and what I'm referring to?

Vantage Point : The President is shooting during a Middle East conference.

It was obvious that it was a Canon sign but it is interesting that the background did look like a reflection of the towers and its interesting that they chose that particular sign to be reflected out of all the possible signs they could have used. Despite it being a Canon sign I still say it's a good find, especially considering the movie it was.

gremlins 2, reptilians take over a skyscraper in nyc, (movie produced by speilberg who also produces movies where giant dinosaurs eat humans) in the movie there is multiple references to 911, including a close up of numbers '9 and 11' side by side and clearly visible in one scene. also a line in the movie paraphrase 'reptilians will be eating many small children'
