I was very civil at the time this happened too. I didnt start any conflict while she was on the phone.

When she was in the bathroom I let her know that I needed to use the bathroom before I left. She didnt reply but got out. Almost like she didnt want to explain who was with her that early in the morning to this person on the phone.

I usually am rowdy but in this case Im glad this happened sooner rather than later.

Sounded like a breakup to me. Probably happened before the phone call ever came.

There are a lot of bad ppl out there. You have two choices, 1) never talk to her again, 2) have a girl over and wear towels around the house, make sure you know that she is going to be coming over your house. Hopefully, she will react, and get mad. Then you can never talk to her again.

Either way you really should not get back with her.

Why would you ever want to be with someone who would show so much lack of respect for you. This guy did not call out of the blue, there has been previous contact "recently". I say let the other guy deal with this one. She isnt even close to being a keeper. Plus, any woman that would take a call like that has very little interest in you. I wouldn't talk to her again. You do not need closure. That happened when she took the call.

In time you will get over it but for now expect "your" level of interest in her to inflate. You know, "we all want what we can't have" type thing. Resist it and you will fair better in the long run.

About "adjustable morality", haha... yeah, this applies extremly well to some/most women, but not all of course.

Thanks OP though, I feel your pain, but this thread helped me out a bit at least. There´s a girl I know who is almost perfect in many ways, but she does have that "fatal flaw" it seems. Cheating came up once in a conversation, and she at first said No, she´d never cheated on any boyfriend. Then reconsidered and said

"Oh no wait, there was one time... but I´d already decided I didn´t love him (her boyfriend at the time, that is)."

So I was... "OK, so you told him about it then, and dumped him?"

Her reply: "Yes, a month later..."

LOL, as if it makes it OK to cheat on someone just because you´ve realized you don´t love them anymore... that´s adjustable morality for you, right there :P I mean I can´t say I would *never* cheat on a woman, under the right circumstances I suppose it *could* happen one day, but if it did I+m pretty sure I would tell her as soon as possible. Anything else is just completely dishonorable, so even just for my own sake if nothing else. I think I wouldn´t be able to look her in the eyes afterwards anyways, until I told her.
