IMHO, if man continues to think of "heavenly lights" as "habitable", you will disregard the earth, like theres something else out there to go to when theres not. IIRC Planet is Greek for 'Wandering Star.'

Therefore the Bible could be interpreted as including Planets in modern sense, as the stars it refers to includes those that wandered, as back then other than the wandering nature no-one could tell the difference between a star and a planet.

GOD created the light above and the darkness (bottomless) below. Above the light there is nothing else meaning it keeps going infinitely, the same with the darkness (gravity). The LORD put the earth over the darkness (gravity), as the waters of the earth spilled over the darkness, the cold of the darkness froze them into an Ice Wall. The Lord then put a ring of light around the Ice Wall to sustained the earth from falling continuously into the bottomless. The Abyss the LORD placed in the midst leading to the bottomless (darkness) fidget coldness around that area. Chapters 25-26-27-28 Secrets of Enoch.



This is why it gets dark at night when the sun (the size of the Moon) circles around passed us. If the Earth was truly spherical when the earth would spin on its axis away from the sun, the earth's skies would still remain lit-up. Think of it in this matter, when you walk into a room lit-up by a lamp, upon facing the lamp you have the light directly before you, and if you turned your back against the lamp the light would be no longer before you but the surrounding spaces of that room would still be lit-up, same would apply for the space earth is in.



This is also why you have probably read in scriptures of a new earth and a new heaven. When the time arrives GOD will add more light around the earth raising it above the darkness and into the light, and there will be sin no more, because the people will be living in the light as opposed to where we are now in the dark. This life is nothing but an experiment to find out who loves HIM (light) and who loves the sin (darkness).

First of all planet comes from the Greek word πλάνης meaning "wanderer and roamer"

There is mention of wanderers in the sky in the bible. And the bible mentions many constellations and other celestial bodies.
